Didn't know I had one so close to my house. So I went in and the lady working that day was so very helpful. They didn't have what I went in there for but I still spent $40 and got other stuff that was very useful. I will go back.

I like shopping at discount stores for cleaning materials, and today was one of those days. I was shopping with the child of a woman who is emerging from homelessness buying cleaning materials. As a nice gesture I encouraged the daughter to get a candle for her mother in her mom's favorite fragrance. To save me money, the girl chose the cheap Glade -knockoff candle. It was poorly packaged and the candle slipped out of the package onto the floor.
I had the young girl stay put as I ran to the front to get help cleaning the glass.
Moments later a pretty black girl with an ugly attitude emerged from the back loudly complaining about having to clean up after adults and saying how they should have to pay for the candle.
At the register I offered to pay for the candle since I made her have to clean up (I would have gladly cleaned it up and paid). She was very very rude about hating having to clean up after grown folks, when it was the child beside me who had the candle when it dropped.
In other words, the associate was incredibly rude and made my little friend feel bad on what was supposed to be a happy day (escaping the homeless shelter).
I attempted to address the matter with grace and the associate PUT HER EARBUDS in her ear like I wasnt a paying customer.
I just thought the whole thing was disgusting and was a bad look in a packed store.

custom service sucks i look at the advertisement for coke product they never have it this location is the worse when ask for product they don’t take the time to check for you manager on duty always has a nasty attitude do not advertise sometimes you can supply your customers with its a waist of time to drive miles away to get turn down its always the same were out or we don’t have it multiple times they ether taking it for th selfs its just so bazaar to me i been there 7 times to ask for the same product md its never available to me sadly i have to write a negative review i also reached out to there website nd left them a customer satisfied review so sad

i feel as though this family dollar is well organized, and its MOSTLY the customers being disrespectful to the employees that try there HARDEST to make the customers satisfied. EVERYONE has there moments even god . SOME people should take that as consideration and understanding that people go through A LOT at work . And with customers making it so difficult, things usually go left . Overall People should treat people how they wanna be treated . Employees don't get up work hard for customers to just be RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. ESPECIALLY if the store gets busy . They don't have time for all that extra nonsense. You're there to shop , get what you need/ want check out and persuade to your life . We all come to family dollar to get cheap stuff , so why do all that complaining everyone coming in there for the same stuff . OVERALL treat people how you want to be treated! Thank you .

Bad Customer Service. NIYA a cashier that works at this location is very rude. She works in the evening and on 9/7/23 around .8:55pm I came into the store and as she was ringing up my things I asked her if she could check the price on an item and she said to me, don't you see busy ringing up your stuff? I told her that she was rude and want to speak to a manager . She said okay, but she's not going to do anything .As I was speaking to the manager about her bad attitude and poor customer service another other guy heard the conversation and said that that's the same girl he complained about but she is still employed with the same bad attitude.She is rude to customers and I'm confused about how she's still employed there. Please TRAIN your cashiers. I work close by and never had a problem with the other cashiers. Customer who shop at this location shouldn't be treated poorly because you are low staffed.I will also be contacting Corporate.

I went to this Dollar store and the employees there are horrible to say the least. When I left the store the cash didn't give me all of my bags. What left behind she didn't even try to bring it to me as I left store. There was plenty of time for her to do this too, because I believe it was intentional. However, I kept calling the store when I noticed the items were not present. Check this out went to the store as the cashier if she remembered me and at first she claimed she didn't, but when I mentioned the items that I left behind she somehow started to remember me. She said, "Oh, I remember the Miracle Whip". Letting me know that she remembered me leaving my groceries or she never gave them too me. Another associate decided to drop into the conversation and said, 'Oh, we put the groceries back. Something about restocking. Trust me I do believe that my items may have gone home with someone. They didn't even try to look at receipts from the register. The store is a mess! I called the day that I brought my groceries and know one answered the phone! The other associate told me that they don't know if they even have a telephone. DON'T SHOP AT THIS STORE THE ASSOCIATE ARE NOT PROFESSIONALS AT ALL. THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS CRAP!

Tonight was very shameful. I came to this family dollar on muddy branch today 08/25/2023 @9:56pm. & they we're closed... me and two other people were standing outside so I decided to knock on the door. i seen the night manager and one of the employees just sitting at the register looking at me. So I kept knocking on the window and no one came. They proceeded to do what they were doing. The male took the trash out and the manager cut the lights off and was pulling the register. After I still was standing there the employee finally came to the door. I asked him why they closed so early today. He proceeded to tell me that there registers were broken.. I asked him if both of them were broken he said yes. I told him he could've just let me know they closed earlier today. Then I asked to speak with his manager he rolled his eyes.. I asked him to give me his cooperate #. He wrote down a fake number and I told him to bring his manager. When his manager came she wrote down the number and gave it to me. ( they both gave me fake #'s.) I told her that the employee had really bad customer service and she cut me off saying that she had a family emergency that's why they closed early. I asked her why he lied to me and she proceeded to say she doesn't need to explain to me. She called me a bitch multiple times & said she didn't care about her job.. she has a "business" and it's just her part time job. She called me a child and just multiple other disrespectful words. The customer service was terrible. The male employee tried to slam my foot in the door & called me bombaclot... they were very disrespectful to me. The manager also yelled out "THIS IS WHY I HATE BLACK BITCHES" .. All because they closed earlier and could've just came outside and said that to the customers. I do not at all recommend this store especially the night team members. They're so rude!

I have nothing bad to say about the workers, they give you the energy you give them. So don't walk into Family Dollar acting like you're shopping at Nordstrom. I took away a star because they are clearly understaffed.

You can almost, pretty much find all your essential needs at this store. I recommend that you download the app, it’s very helpful. Great prices! Great deals!!
