I hate to leave bad reviews, especially after being informed by my coworkers about how good this place is. I ordered a Rueben and it was literally the WORST I have ever had. There was hardly any meat on the sandwich and the corned beef that was there, was in thick chunks that had fat and gristle all through it. I prefer my meat shaved or sliced, not in huge, barely edible, hard chunks. Plus, it smelled like the meat was going bad. The rye bread was also completely soggy. I'm upset that I wasted my money here and really wish I could get a full refund. Needless to say, I won't be back.

I always drive by this place and was curious so I finally stopped by last week. Its just a normal bodega/corner store. Nothing too great. Not too much variety on juice drinks and sodas. They did have food. I ordered a reuben as curiosity. Nothing amazing. Something I could have made at home. And paid $11 for two pieces of bread, meat and Swiss cheese.

This place is a hidden gem that is super popular with locals. I have passed it more times than I can count, even went in for cold drinks to carry me back home to Baltimore County a few times. I had no idea they served food or that it was absolutely amazing. I got to try their food for the first time last year and was impressed. My brother scheduled his outdoor wedding to take place at a nearby venue that doesn't serve food. I wanted to provide picnic style food to match the "boho" vibe of the occasion. Etchison Country Store came through! I ordered 100 pieces of fried chicken, a gallon of potato salad and a gallon of macaroni salad. The food was ready on time, the chicken was hot, the salads were high quality and fresh. Everything was outstanding! The guests raved about the food as they gobbled it up. :-) Chip, the owner is wonderful. Great communication and customer service. I wouldn't hesitate to order from Etchison Country Store again in the future. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Thanks again, Chip!

I walked in here today for the first time after being told "YOU MUST GO IN THERE!". I am so glad I did.My tuna salad sandwich, and coleslaw made my day!Torie and Chip were so friendly. And HOLY COW on the beer selection! I'll definitely be back.If you are nearby, YOU MUST STOP IN THERE!

Not sure where to begin. We have passed by the little country store for years and never give it the time of the day. Boy was I wrong to have done that. On our way home today, we decided to pull into the parking lot. Now that we are here, what do we get? A little of everything, of course.Bacon Cheeseburger - love the burger and everything about it. The bun was perfect for the burger and the toppings were fresh.Crabcake sandwich- not bad. Definitely not the lump crab cake but tasty. My husband really enjoyed it.Spiced Jumbo Shrimp- perfectly cooked. Easy to peel. Delicious. We also picked up some snacks. They also carry beer and wine.Next time I drive by, I won't be turning my nose up to it. Definitely will be back to try other menu items.

Stopped by here MANY times over the years. The Italian cold cut sub is always fresh and delicious! Fried chicken good, and the steamed shrimp are also always fresh, cooked properly and seasoned right -not overly salted like Camerons in R-ville. Someone stated they are frozen...LOL..FYI ALL SHRIMP ARE FROZEN straight away from the harvest, unless you cook them on the boat. Chip does a good job here!

I was in the area for some repair work and stopped here while waiting for my car to grab a snack. I ended up getting a breakfast sandwich and it was very good. The guy working here was friendly. It's a small shop but the food is good and they've got a decent bunch of snacks off the shelf.

Hate to do this but don’t get the jumbo spiced shrimp. It’s just frozen shrimp (mine tasted freezer burnt) with a ton of seasoning and not peeled or deveined (which would’ve been fine had they been somewhat fresh or just not freezer burnt). Also their receipts don’t show anything other than the price you paid and there aren’t many items with clear prices. Item prices seem to be jacked up. I somehow always pay more here when getting items I always get.
