This place SUCKS. Think they're doing you a favor renting you a car. Lucky for them that other enterprises are keeping them in business, must be nice.

I was getting a car rented to me due to an accident I was involved in. I called them and they set it up for me to be picked up at the shop I was getting my car fixed at. I arrived on time and waited 10 min before I called them to check on where my ride was. They told me I needed to call them to let them know I was there. I was not told this on the phone while figuring out the details of me getting a rental. We made an appointment for 7:45 am and I waited till 8:19am till they arrived. (Mind you I have work and a commute, hence the time I picked) They gave me and another lady a choice of two cars, I did not care which vehicle I was put in but neither of the choices was what I ended up with. They said I would be getting a Nissan Rouge and even after I saw it pull up, I was not given that car. I was put in an equinox that was not detailed at all! Between the seats was potato chips, gum wrappers and funny enough Marijuana. The car had a stench of old cat litter and cat pee. When I finally got in the not so clean equinox that I had to wait for, it was the time I needed to be at work in Frederick. Thankfully my job is very understanding but the second I got to work and settled I e-mailed them about the displeasure with my car, this was a Friday. As that cat pee smell went away, having this car for about a week, with vents on it only smelt of old stale ciggarettes. I received no answer to my e-mail so I messaged again on that Tuesday. I again heard nothing. Tuesday night I received a notification on the car with low tire pressure and then went to park the car at home shortly after and the car would not recognize I took the key out to park and kept yelling at me. I emailed them again right when I got it to stop yelling at me about a key, stating "it's obvious no one checks these emails so I will be calling in the morning." Strangely enough I got an email right back saying I'll get a call in the morning about a switch out. That Wednesday I waited till 3:00pm before calling them. I was told they didn't call me because there wasn't another car available, my response was "there was no communication about that, communicating anything to me would of gone a long way" they told me then they would have a car for me the day after, Thursday. I picked up the car, a Nissan Rouge funny enough. The new car had absolutely been detailed and was great at first. That Saturday evening I got a notice from the car itself saying it needed an oil change and filter. I called Sunday to inform them and left voice-mail. I never heard back from them but thankfully I got my own vehicle back shortly afterwards and did not need to switch out yet again. Their face to face customer service is amazing but their phone etiquette, email response times and basic communication with their customers is far below what expected, especially knowing I am out of my car due to an accident that wasn't my fault and needed to be put in another vehicle.

On October 28th, I visited Enterprise to pick up my reservation with my toddler. Upon arrival, I realized that the car I had reserved was too small to fit the car seat I brought from my house. It was quite cold outside, and trying to figure out how my daughter and I would have a comfortable ride was a bit overwhelming. I requested to speak with the manager on duty, and Jarron was able to help me out. He was incredibly accommodating. He showed great kindness to my daughter and me. Although he explained that as per company policy, he couldn't install the car seat for us, he kindly helped transfer it from where I had placed it to my car. He ensured that my daughter and I were comfortable and even asked if there was anything else we needed. This act of kindness truly meant a lot to me. It's my hope that there are more individuals like him around, spreading kindness.

Everyone at this location is very helpful and accommodating. They helped me with the rental even though I needed to switch cars multiple times. Every time they went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Many thanks to Nolan, Gousman, Adam and Eric for all the help.

If I could rate this Enterprise a 0 I would. After a long conversation with my father and brother I am baffled. I work in the auto industry and I use this business to get my customers into vehicles when we don’t have loaners. My father just emphasized how terrible of an experience he had. Direct paragraph goes as, we decided to rent a car for Alexander Parris, my brother. We went (11/8) to a local Enterprise Rental Car (446 N Frederic Rd in Gaithersburg) and I drove him and gave him my credit card to rent the car. I stayed in my car.He entered the store alone and was told that I needed to sign for the card so he invited me in and I signed for the card. All other paperwork was signed/initialed by Alexander while I sat passively nearby. The counter clerk gave him the key and Alexander did the walk around of the car with one of their employees while I got back into my car and left.Alexander drove the car home and parked it in the driveway (about 12 miles). On Thursday 11/9, I went to work about noon and about 90 minutes before he had to be elsewhere Alexander went to the rental car and discovered that it would not start....it seemed like a dead battery....starter did not successfully engage or turn the engine. This morning I called Enterprise, and I was very hot about the situation...I told them in no uncertain terms that I wanted my money back and they needed to come get the car...by this point the battery was completely dead. We had already attempted a jump. I expected good customer service. The person I was talking to immediately said that Alexander was not suppose to be driving the car and therefore I could not get my money back.I became rude but not profane or personal. Regardless, the person on the phone told me I was rude and hung up on me.So I went into the Enterprise store and spoke to a different guy behind the counter.. My first words were that I wanted to apologize and explain a problem. There were two guys at the counter I was speaking to a guy with dreadlocks while a young white guy in a suit stood next to him. The guy was patient and listened to the story and explained that I was the only driver on the contract. I pointed out that Alexander had conducted all the business and they the burden on them was to ask me for him to be an additional driver with and additional fee. This is when the guy who did the paperwork (sitting in the back of the store came forward and said that the problem was ME because I should have told him that Alexander was going to drive the car. I said that it was very obvious that Alexander was going to drive the car as they gave him the key and he had signed all the paperwork except the credit card. I said that was ridiculous but agreed that if they would come get the car out of my driveway I would not contest the $178 fee that I paid as long as I got my deposit back. I was not happy, but as I turned to leave the white kid in the suite said something like "Ya, ya, ya"...like I was wasting their time. I asked him if he were the manager. The guy in dreadlocks said no...I then told the white kid he should keep his mouth shut and that he was stepping on his manager.I'm in the process of leaving and some underling has just injected himself into the conversation with his manager....which had ended in favor of the manager. So, I told the kid that if I were his manager, I would fire him. When I got home and confirmed with Alexander that he had signed initialled) all the rental documents. I called the store and the manager answered the phone (fortunately) and I told him that contrary to the claims of employee #1 that Alexander had initialed all the paperwork and it was irrational to assume that he was not intended to drive he car. And I reiterated that I would fire both of the people who spoke withouth invitation by the manager. Now I am waiting for the car to be picked up and the manager said he would call me to verify the refund of my deposit

I rented a “ Luxury” vehicle. I had to wait 20 minutes for the vehicle to arrive. It was not filled up with gas and they gave it to me so filthy that I had to goto a carwash immediately after. When I returned the car, they charged me for 2 gallons of gas. This was the most unprofessional and downright sorry experience I’ve ever had with Enterprise. They have lost a private and corporate customer.

They have fast service, offer great vehicles, and gave me a nice car bc the previous one had a mechanical issue. However the 3 stars is because they gave me wrong information regarding what time I had to drop off the car, and had to waste a portion of my day calling insurance to make sure what they told me was correct or not.

I reserved a standard size car but at first the Enterprise Employee gave me a midsize then checked the reservation number and saw it is for standard size car!!! the car was given had several mechanical issues, then I called Enterprise they said you can replace the car at any Enterprise location went to 2 locations in Sharon Boston none was helpful and they did not even bother to check confirmation. The passenger side door needed to be opened from outside and received a replacement car at Logon airport paid extra tolls and fees to get to the Airport. According to Enterprise employee at the airport the car supposed to be totaled and not to be rented out when she saw the car. The paper work and drop off to the airport wasted half a day trip to Canada. :(

Very poor service. First rep failed to answer my question by hanging up and the second rep failed to listen to my question by blatantly ignoring me. Do NOT rent a car from this branch as they clearly need new management. Not impressed at all.

Great experience. I had a last minute need for a car and they gave me a truck in which I didn’t care. I needed a car since mine broke down. Then, the truck had issues so they replaced it within 15 minutes of my returning the 1st truck. Very welcoming and friendly.
