I would leave 0 Stars if possible. Last week I dropped off 2 items for repair (chain and clasp repairs) and paid him $75.00 to do both (which is already way overpriced but I didn't feel like driving to Tysons. A week later when my items were ready I asked my husband to pick them up while he was out. When he went to Daviko Gems he had no clue what he was doing, he just asked if these were paid for and Daviko said no and charged his card for $100.00 When he got home we realized he double charged us so I called and he said bring both receipts down and he will fix it. So I did, and he told me no, no refund he "forgot that was the cost." He is a stingy liar who takes advantage of people in the Kentlands.

Brought in a gold ring to be resized. Had an extremely pleasant conversation with the owner. One of the nicest people I have met. He finished the work earlier than estimated which was a nice surprise. The ring fits perfectly now, plus he cleaned it and it looks brand new. Wonderful place to take your jewelry or look for a new piece. Masterclass work.

David is amazing. His prices are more than fair. He worked with us to find the PERFECT diamond for our 20th anniversary . His store is loaded with unique jewelry that you won't find in the name brand jewelry cases. I can't say enough. We also purchased 2 beautiful necklaces for our 2 daughter's.

Fabulous jeweler. Inherited several loose stones and they set them into rings and pendants. My kid had something repaired also. The jeweler can test if a piece is real or costume, and several pieces were traded in for credit against the new pieces being made.

The young man at Daviko Gems is amazing! He was able to downside my ring and gave it back when he promised. It still look brand new and very clean and shiny! It fits like a glove! The price wasn’t bad for a down size.

David's Gems is staffed by a very caring and customer focused couple. I have enjoyed taking with them about their life travels, their history and background. You feel like family when you visit David's Gems, whether it's too buy jewelry, appraise jewelry or simply have a watch battery changed. It's nice to see a small business with such customer focused attention.

I needed to get my wedding band resized up, but didn't want to send it back to the original vendor I got I from because I wanted to have a professional size my finger. My ring was successfully stretched and it fit great, but the engraving on the inside was scratched. He ended up fixing the engraving and I love my ring even more now! I can see why some people might be put off by the owner's demeanor, if you're hoping for a "Say Yes to the Dress" type of experience when you're ring shopping and are easily offended, I would maybe not come here. However, I valued his honest evaluation and explanations for why he went with certain design choices over others. Direct, to the point, and gets you what you need.
