This review is for the minute clinic. They were just awful. They were not accommodating and just let me waiting for over 30 minutes with a fever and a sore throat so bad I couldn't talk. They turned me away saying they were busy even though they were just drinking their iced coffee and chatting amongst themselves.

Pharmacy is awful. Stopped by 45 minutes after it should open, and was told that the pharmacist had not arrived. They were not sure when the pharmacy would open.

Great experience at this CVS. The sales person was very helpful pointing me to the correct isle for what I was looking for. She knew exactly where everything was. All the isles are numbered. It was a very easy shopping experience. She was very patient with me , since I had not been in this store for a few years.

Oh boy. Went here this evening for my bivalent covid booster and the pharmacist flubbed the injection. She didn't put the needle in deep enough and some of the dose streamed down my arm. When she saw it leaking, she laughed and said "I was worried I didn't put the needle in deep enough." I asked if it would be a problem and she said probably not. Left a big itchy pink bump on my arm and now I'm worried I won't be fully protected because I didn't get the full dose, but there's nothing I can do because you can't get two. Nothing I can do except warn other people -- don't get shots here!

I tried unsuccessfully for almost an hour to make an online appointment for a Covid booster at the Darnestown Road CVS where I had gotten my previous two boosters. Every store within 30 miles came up but this one. Called the store to ask for help and was told to come in before 4:00 on Thursday as a walk-in. Went in and was told that I had to make an online appointment. When I explained that I had tried unsuccessfully to do so and was told to come in as a walk-in (which they advertise as an option), I was told that I had to have an online appointment. I explained that I'd tried and was told to just come in. She replied that obviously other people had been successful and walked away. So much for customer servic

The minute clinic "medical professional" came out at 1:25 to turn me away from my 1:10 appointment because she did not want to service me. Disgusting.

I always have a great experience here. Last night was no exception when Shirley helped me find the proper formula I needed for my new babies. Thanks very much, Shirley!

Store is nice but pharmacy staff is unbelievably RUDE! I stopped in today 12/30/21 to ask a quick question and the pharmacy employee snapped at me, rolled her eyes, and was incredibly rude as she answered my question in an annoyed tone. It caught me so off guard that I actually started to tear up right there at the pharmacy counter. This is not AT ALL what I expected from a healthcare professional. I certainly won’t ever go back!

Customer service continues to suck at the pharmacy. Amazing that the pharmacist doesn't fire such an inconsiderate and unprofessional staff with this many negative reviews. Even though this is very close to my house, I will be changing my primary pharmacy to Potomac Care Pharmacy. Pat is so nice, accommodating and will order medication right away if they run out.Don't bother with this place.

First of all, the deals are't good. The best you're going to do is get a reasonable price, but only after you sort through a 75 feet long receipt and scan for your extra bucks and break out the excel spreadsheet to apply the 95 different categories of coupons and combined offers and WHO THE HELL HAS TIME FOR THIS BULLSHIT!The employees hate their jobs just as much as I hate being in CVS. It's like their goal was to combine the customer experience of the MVA with the checkout process of leasing a car.

5 minutes for each car in the drive-thru to move, and it's just as bad inside. Inexcusable!

Well, I cannot for the life of me figure out why the reviews of this Darnestown CVS location are so low. I guess it does look like a lot of people are disliking the pharmacy. My experience was with the rest of the store, which was terrific! First of all, you've got your old CVSs and your new CVSs. You know what I'm talking about. The old have the same 10 aisles, half are drug and the other half are food/candy/beachwear/makeup/cards. But the NEW CVSs, it's like all glossy inside and the make up section looks like the Clinique counter at the mall and the food section is robust and everything is really easy to find. Well, this is one of the new set ups. So I love it in there. Bigger aisles, easy to get around.I should say, I was hellbent on using my CVS coupons this month and went to two CVS stores before I came to the Darnestown location. Guys, they stock their shelves at Darnestown. It looked really good, not gonna lie. Honestly though, the review is for the cashiers,, who I thought just went above and beyond. First of all, if you want self checkout, they've got it. The old CVSs don't have that but this one does, which is awesome. But if you're going to be a PITA like I was and use four coupons at one time, you better have a human being check you out. Good thing the people here are SO DAMN NICE. The first gentleman who helped me, I wish I had gotten his name, but was thoughtful and talkative but not overly talkative - you know what I mean. He also was cool that I was buying 20+ items with four coupons. When my last coupon didn't go through, he told me how much more I needed to buy to make it work. And when we tried that and it didn't work, he got a senior staff to come help me. Immediately! I didn't even have to wait! Now, Shirley was a doll. She could have easily given up and told me to use the coupon another time. A lesser person would have. But not Shirley. Over two registers, she diligently figured out how to get my coupon to work, not once making me feel bad for being today's most annoying customer. Then, THEN, she sends me home with one of their promo gift packages! After fighting the registers so I could use my coupons, she gives me a gift on top of that. That Shirley made my day. Folks, I'm not gonna lie, there are two CVSs closer to me and I will likely only come back to this one. It's in the same parking lot as a Safeway, so it's actually pretty convenient too.

If I can rate below a 1 star, I would. I don't typically rate places to give a negative review but this pharmacy was just so rude and disrespectful, I couldn't not say anything about it. I'm in the medical field and I was shocked to see that the staff at the pharmacy just does not seem to care about their patients and it makes me question why they are in the healthcare field in the first place. I was denied Covid testing at this clinic when I arrive on site, without forewarning, due to my insurance. I fly internationally in 3 days and needed this test and they flat out denied me due to my insurance, offered me no solution and even got verbal aggressive with me when I was asking questions to understand the situation better. I offered to pay out of pocket as I needed this test but they again, denied me and said only insurance can cover cost, not patients. We are in the middle of a pandemic and I was denied Covid testing because of my insurance? Does that even make sense? I got Covid testing at another CVS two months ago in Glen Burnie for my internship at a hospital and didn't have this problem with my insurance then so I couldn't understand why I was having this problem at this specific CVS. And they got aggressive at me for asking what changed. After no help, I left to stressfully call other clinics for a rapid Covid test. I was able to book a Covid test at another CVS in Urbana the same day, later in the evening. Everything went smoothly, I had no issues with them and I was able to get my test results for my flight within 15mins of taking the test. It was clear that they had some type of prejudice against me and just did not care to offer me any help on how I could get tested before my flight in 3 days.I've never been treated this way for just asking questions. This pharmacy staff needs to do better and remember why they are in the field in the first place. Show empathy and don't raise your voice at patients in front of the entire waiting room airing out personal information. Just do better.
