I drove from Hanover ,Pa.to have my service and warranty work done here . My experience was outstanding the service was outstanding, and the work again outstanding. These guys get A+ for getting the job done .I have to mention that my body shop estimator, Matt Tait Was one of the most Thorough at his job, along with being very helpful, informative, respectful, and most professional fellow that I have ever worked with. Seeing me through the process from start to finish.I contacted the shop manager Andrew directly he immediately picked up and Greeted me then proceeded to start off the conversation, making sure that I was happy with the work and service ! This was before I even had the chance to tell him that I was extremely happy and was the reason for my call.I felt that I needed to praise him for how his department ran . Starting with the first encounter I had starting over the phone with Matt Tait then once I arrived.Matt continued seeing everything I needed through from start to finish personally and continued with the rest of the team being very efficient ! They got the job done quickly and most importantly correctly and flawless. This department is a well oiled machine highly trained ,skilled, and definitely recommended !So that led me from the service department to parts and once again treated with respect and courtesy by that entire staff . They aided me with multiple purchases . A very kind gentlemen whose name I did not get opened display cases throughout the dealership so I could obtain the items that I wanted to purchase .I give you my word as a business owner myself . That even having to drive across state lines to get there. I had no problem doing so and will be doing it again for future service to my vehicles because of the quality and when I’m ready to buy again I’ll start at Criswell with the service department’s recommendation!

Purchased a 2023 Corvette. The wait was long but the purchase process was straight forward with no gimmicks. I stayed away from dealers that advertised a price but turned out to have added mark up.

I scheduled an oil change and a full detail which is about 300.00 for the serial service . I have had 3 in the past and have always loved my car looking and feeling brand new from the inside out . Not this time . I picked it up and immediately could tellThe inside was barely touched . When I went in and asked to speak to the service supervisor Mike McCormick right away I could tell he didn't want to be bothered . I asked him to come out to see the car . He gets out there and like just ok it was detailed clearly instead of seeing how terrible it looked and asking how he can make it right . This went on for a while . His response was just " if you look for things, you're going to find them". I have never dealt with someone so against doing the right thing and making things right for the customer. I will never buy another car from here or have any service done again. Another incident was I dropped my car off for an oil changed and was later called by someone and was to that my car had "exploded " but couldn't give me any details. Of course this threw me into a confused frenzy. I later found out if was not an "explosion " just that the battery wasn't connected correctly the las time and that there was an issue that they "would take care of this time ".I do love Dina in service and unfortunately every time she isn't there there are these unfortunate incidents that apparently can't be handled properly. Check out the picture and let me know does this look like a 300.00 detail or a trip to auto spa?

Where do I even begin with my absolutely horrendous experience at Criswell Chevrolet of Gaithersburg? I wish I could give them zero stars because they don't even deserve one. From start to finish, dealing with this dealership has been an absolute nightmare.First off, the salespeople were incredibly pushy and seemed more interested in making a quick sale than actually helping me find the right car for my needs. It was like they were reading from a script, spewing out all the usual sales tactics without actually listening to what I wanted. They tried to upsell me on features I had clearly stated I didn't want, showing a complete lack of respect for my preferences. But the nightmare didn't end with the salespeople. The financing process was an absolute disaster. They promised me a certain interest rate and monthly payment, but when I got to the finance office, suddenly the terms had changed without any explanation. It felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic, leaving me feeling deceived and trapped in a contract that wasn't what I had agreed to.And let's not forget about the condition of the car itself. Despite being marketed as "pre-inspected" and in excellent condition, the vehicle I purchased had multiple issues that weren't disclosed to me upfront. It's as if they were hoping I wouldn't notice or that the problems would only show up after the warranty had expired. It's clear they prioritize making a sale over the safety and satisfaction of their customers. The customer service throughout this whole ordeal was abysmal. When I tried to address the issues I was facing, I was met with indifference and even rudeness from the staff. It's as if they believed their job was done as soon as they had my signature on the dotted line.Overall, Criswell Chevrolet of Gaithersburg is a prime example of everything that's wrong with car dealerships. Their deceptive tactics, lack of transparency, and disrespectful treatment of customers make them a place to avoid at all costs. Save yourself the headache and frustration - take your business elsewhere.

While my car is fixed, The price was really way too high for what was needed and the timeframe for completion was extended twice. And of course like every mechanic they want to tell you everything they can do and initially tried to tell me it would all cost over $4,000. After refusing the non urgent items it came out to approx $2,100...then lowered once more to approx $1,900. Hopefully there won't be a next time but if there is, I'd probably be better off buying the parts myself from rock auto for cheaper (and of course I just learned about this site after the fact) and taking it elsewhere to be fixed in a more timely manner. I also asked for transportation to the location and was told by my service consultant (Gerald) that I'd be sent a link to request pickup but I never got it so I had to accumulate costs for Uber to go get my car.

They are happy to sell you a car but are not willing to assist when the manufacturer they partner with has willingly and knowingly sold an unsafe and undriveable vehicle into the market. They are sneering, mocking, and utterly unwilling to do what they should do. Steer clear. Liars. Cheats. Are thrilled to tell you to just "rent a car," even though the still-under-warranty vehicle you bought from them might kill your family due to an unfixable defect. No integrity whatsoever.

We've purchased two vehicles, and had multiple repairs done by Criswell. I've always found them to be incredibly helpful, and professional. They are a dealer, so I expect them to be more expensive then your local mechanic. As an example, in our most recent vehicle purchase, my wife and I were extremely busy, and didn't have the time to go down and sign all the paperwork for the vehicle. The sales guy came to our house, had us fill out all the paper work, took it back to the dealer, then came back with the vehicle and handed us the keys. When the plates came in he dropped them by our house rather than making us come down and get them. The only minor annoyance I have is when doing repairs, I have to talk to parts, get the parts ordered, then get transferred to service to set up the appointment. The two departments don't communicate with each other. Not a huge deal, but extra time on the phone.I generally hate working with the service departments at dealers, but these guys are customer focused, and helpful.

The brake job seems to have taken care of the noise I was dealing with. Although, it took a rather long time (all day overnight) despite having an appointment.- Corwin and Tony Curtis were exceptionally accommodating but I was told Thursday was a slow day when I called- Monday...seems vets always have precedent. The girl at billing had a lot to be desired and I hate using a credit card being charged additional fee- thankfully my bank card worked. You've had my service since a Camaro I bought in '79; a malibu in 2010;And current Buick convertible from Thurmont criswell. ( who wants to buy back lol)I appreciate the Lyft service. Thumbs upThanks for your service- bill write up says I need tires rotated but that was just done 2 weeks ago at jiffy lube- I will look into the tires later

Rip off. They take money from the less fortunate and give it to the rich.In addition to multiple additional fees on the invoice, they charged me a 3% fee for me to pay using my credit card. I found the credit card fee unreasonable. No other businesses charge a fee to pay them with a credit card. I can afford it but for those with a tight budget the 3% charge is very unfair. I have been an actual promoter for Criswell for the past 8 years. Guess what? They have lost a customer that will cost them thousands in the future. I left 3 messages for the General Manger and NO RESPONSE at all. Shame on them. Poor customer service.GOODBYE CRISWELL

we will never ever do business at this establishment ever again. I can't even type every unpleasant experience. they don't stand behind their product. it's a running joke in our house that every time we visit the service department we end up spending thousands of dollars. our car is 6 years old and within the first year the DVD player stopped working, the touch screen stopped working and now it needed a new transmission yes I'm not joking then a few weeks later the air conditioner broke. You want me to add the up well it's $10,000. I could of bought a new car with all the money I've spent here. Don't take your car there and don't buy a car from them. oh and let me just add I still need another $5,000 worth of work done on a 6 year of car!

Watch out - they sneak in a 3% "convenience fee" unless you pay with cash. Plus they don't follow the masks mandate - no one in the entire showroom or service area was wearing a mask despite the MoCo and Maryland masks mandate currently in effect. Clearly they don't care about their customers.

Richard Beckett is the man! I came in there because of a hot internet special and he honored my internet quote on my trade in. Super easy and professional. Had an issue with a stripped license plate screw and he replaced without question. Morris Williams is the finance guy, he explained the service packages so many times to me and worked with my difficult credit union like a pro thanks guys!!

All the company took away from all this was the oil change took to long. Not the poor customer service. Not the lack of follow through. There is alot wrong with this company. And as you can see they are full of excuses. Drive to the next place
