My first service at criswell, A+. The last experiences have been not good. First, my service advisor, Charles is great! I had my first maintenance done per my maintenance contract. Took a little longer than expected since I had an appointment, but that's OK. My truck was supposed to be washed and vacuumed as stated on my invoice. Most of the vehicle was still dirty and not vacuumed. I will never agree to a wash at your dealership again. Worse than that, there was oil smeared on my center console. I thought the techs wore gloves. Also, the tires were not rotated which is included in my paid maintenance plan. I was there the next day to return the floor mats I ordered. The guy at the parts counter pulled the wrong ones. While waiting there, the guy that brings the cars up to the customer when ready was complaining about the cars backed up in the wash because they were standing around talking. The first time I was there to pick up my vehicle, there were two guys arguing about moving a towed car. I really want to use criswell for all my service and maintenance, but from what I've experienced so far, there's problems there.

I had the best experience at this dealership thanks to Cristian in the service department. Brought my car in because it wasn’t turning off. Another local dealer told me that it could be a few months before they were able to repair it. Offered me no alternative solution. Brought my car to Criswell and was immediately treated 100x better. Cristian worked with my third party warranty to get everything processed and had my car back to me in a day. Could not recommend this dealer/service department enough.

Charles was great to work with. They identified a problem with my transmission and highlighted two options. I went with the more affordable option and it worked. This team is always courteous and gets my truck serviced quickly

My service dept. contact was Charles, and he was AWESOME. I had an extended warranty claim on the repairs needed, and while the warranty company (AAA) is pretty reputable, they definitely tried to avoid covering. Thanks to Charles, who went the extra mile by providing key info to me and also spending a ton of time on the phone with the warranty company, the repairs were (mostly) covered. The one problem I had was that, after the vehicle was repaired, the mechanic apparently forgot to do something, so the vehicle died on my way out of Criswell. But again, Charles - along with the folks in the service dept. office - quickly gave me a loaner and the problem was fixed later that day. Thank you so much, Charles (and colleagues)!!!

Purchased a 2023 Corvette. The wait was long but the purchase process was straight forward with no gimmicks. I stayed away from dealers that advertised a price but turned out to have added mark up.

This was my first time at this dealership. I had a very good experience to say the least. Gerald was my service advisor and he handled my vehicle servicing very professionally. He explained everything that was needed for my vehicle and kept me informed during the experience. Great job, Gerald!

Joey Ryall (salesperson) along with Harry Criswell were professional, courteous, and reliable with benchmark expectations in the ordering and delivery process of my 2024 Corvette Stingray. The Criswell team possessed integrity in word and action. I'm very pleased with how this dealership conducts business with its customers and how it's run from the top - down.

Mr. Mike Holda is an excellent representative of Criswell. He is professional yet personable, pays attention to details, makes a genuine effort to listen to his customers and makes sure their concerns are addressed. In my case, I came in for routine maintenance but expressed concern about what sounded like a developing valve “tap” or engine knock on a Silverado with only 30,000 miles on it, which sometimes can lead to a very expensive repair. He pointed out that the scheduled 30k mile maintenance included an induction cleaning solvent to remove carbon buildup in the air/fuel intake system which might clear the problem by cleaning any carbon buildup on the intake valve seats. I agreed and upon pick-up and the drive home, it seems the “tap/knock” is greatly diminished or gone. I look forward to working with him again.

They charged over $500 for a key replacement, plus a shop fee, a document fee and 3% fee for using a credit card. The Manager Mike, was not helpful. Their attitude is if you want your car back you'll pay. Find a dealership that doesn't nickel and dime you and use a Locksmith to program replacement keys, even on a Corvette or Cadillac.

I scheduled an oil change and a full detail which is about 300.00 for the serial service . I have had 3 in the past and have always loved my car looking and feeling brand new from the inside out . Not this time . I picked it up and immediately could tellThe inside was barely touched . When I went in and asked to speak to the service supervisor Mike McCormick right away I could tell he didn't want to be bothered . I asked him to come out to see the car . He gets out there and like just ok it was detailed clearly instead of seeing how terrible it looked and asking how he can make it right . This went on for a while . His response was just " if you look for things, you're going to find them". I have never dealt with someone so against doing the right thing and making things right for the customer. I will never buy another car from here or have any service done again. Another incident was I dropped my car off for an oil changed and was later called by someone and was to that my car had "exploded " but couldn't give me any details. Of course this threw me into a confused frenzy. I later found out if was not an "explosion " just that the battery wasn't connected correctly the las time and that there was an issue that they "would take care of this time ".I do love Dina in service and unfortunately every time she isn't there there are these unfortunate incidents that apparently can't be handled properly. Chris Morgan was our sales person and he was nothing short of fantastic. Same with Don in finance. Both of these guys are top notch. Never made me feel pressured to do anything nor did they add unnecessary fees to the deal like many other dealers. What I saw on the sticker was what I was able to get. GREAT experience.

Where do I even begin with my absolutely horrendous experience at Criswell Chevrolet of Gaithersburg? I wish I could give them zero stars because they don't even deserve one. From start to finish, dealing with this dealership has been an absolute nightmare.First off, the salespeople were incredibly pushy and seemed more interested in making a quick sale than actually helping me find the right car for my needs. It was like they were reading from a script, spewing out all the usual sales tactics without actually listening to what I wanted. They tried to upsell me on features I had clearly stated I didn't want, showing a complete lack of respect for my preferences.But the nightmare didn't end with the salespeople. The financing process was an absolute disaster. They promised me a certain interest rate and monthly payment, but when I got to the finance office, suddenly the terms had changed without any explanation. It felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic, leaving me feeling deceived and trapped in a contract that wasn't what I had agreed to.And let's not forget about the condition of the car itself. Despite being marketed as "pre-inspected" and in excellent condition, the vehicle I purchased had multiple issues that weren't disclosed to me upfront. It's as if they were hoping I wouldn't notice or that the problems would only show up after the warranty had expired. It's clear they prioritize making a sale over the safety and satisfaction of their customers.The customer service throughout this whole ordeal was abysmal. When I tried to address the issues I was facing, I was met with indifference and even rudeness from the staff. It's as if they believed their job was done as soon as they had my signature on the dotted line.Overall, Criswell Chevrolet of Gaithersburg is a prime example of everything that's wrong with car dealerships. Their deceptive tactics, lack of transparency, and disrespectful treatment of customers make them a place to avoid at all costs. Save yourself the headache and frustration - take your business elsewhere.

While my car is fixed, The price was really way too high for what was needed and the timeframe for completion was extended twice. And of course like every mechanic they want to tell you everything they can do and initially tried to tell me it would all cost over $4,000. After refusing the non urgent items it came out to approx $2,100...then lowered once more to approx $1,900. Hopefully there won't be a next time but if there is, I'd probably be better off buying the parts myself from rock auto for cheaper (and of course I just learned about this site after the fact) and taking it elsewhere to be fixed in a more timely manner. I also asked for transportation to the location and was told by my service consultant (Gerald) that I'd be sent a link to request pickup but I never got it so I had to accumulate costs for Uber to go get my car.

Dina and her team are great! I drive 245 miles each way from PIttsburgh so Criswell can service my Corvette. I trust them and the work that they do, and it has proven to be worth the trip even though I have several Chevrolet dealers in my home town. Everything is prompt, efficient and done right the first time, and everyone is very friendly as well.
