They have HUGE savings on medications, I mean some of then up to TEN TIMES CHEAPER than Walgreens or CVS, in addition you get a text message when your meds are ready for pickup, and you don't even need a membership... all in all THE BEST BY FAR.There is always a line because of the savings so don't expect to chat with the attendants.

The way the head pharmacist here speaks to customers is outrageous. I did not have a problem with my scripts but as a person who works in mental health, I think she is dangerous and needs to be replaced. Costco administration, please send some secret friends in to get a few tough scripts filled and see what you get. Never again for me, I'll pay more or drive to Wheaton to avoid what's happening there.

The worker who is called "mimi" is very bad. I was with my mom asking if they had a prescription and I was talking mean to my mom because I thought she was yelling at me. She wasn't yelling at me, she was just worried. And they told us that they didn't have the recipe. And I look at my mom in a bad way. Then my dad spoke to another person just to make sure it was true that they didn't have the medicine and the "mimi" jumped in saying "I don't believe what I told you? I never lie and I worked at this pharmacy for 10 years." Madam, I don't care how much you worked or anything, my dad was just making sure they had the medicine. She needs to calm down or change this worker because she was very mean to my parents. I hope the same thing doesn't happen to other people.

Usually a good pharmacy, the only times I had issues was when I was helped by a "lady" called “Mimi”. She gives all kinds of trouble for a simple matter of picking up a prescription. She looks bored by her job and she takes it out on the customers. I haven't had any problems with any of the rest of the staff.

I filled a prescription at Gaithersburg Costco on Tuesday . The clerk told me that they do not have the drug until Thursday. I came back on Thursday. Another clerk told me that he needed to check with the doctor's office to verify if the medicine was for oral, not injection. He told me to come back on Friday around 3 PM. On Friday I called the pharmacy, and they told me that they would have it on Monday. But they had a small amount of 30 ml for my daughter to use over the weekend. I came back on Friday to get 30 ml medicine and showed her health insurance card to the front desk clerk, asking him to charge her own health insurance, but not my health insurance on file. Today I came back to Costco for the rest of the prescription. Costco charged my health insurance for the drug citing that Costco does not accept my daughter's health insurance.If you read this review, save yourself some troubles , run away from Costco pharmacy. One stop shopping does not work here with Costco pharmacy

Costco pharmacy has been a great save for me. For the most part customer service has been good. The prices are so much better. When I'm charged $99.00 for 90 generic asthma pills at CVS, I know that all I need to do is call Costco, they'll look up the price, and it will be MUCH less expensive without even using insurance. You don't even need a membership to use the pharmacy!The only drawbacks are the "zoo that is Costco, and the parking lot". I'm not a huge fan of crowds, but for the price it is worth diving into the fray.

I never write reviews, let alone negative reviews, but I’ve never been treated so poorly in my life. I left the store in tears. All I needed was help with a prescription and they acted like I was inconveniencing them. First time in a store since the pandemic started. If you can, go anywhere but here for medication.

I don't know what all the bad reviews are about, they were excellent with us. Mimi was really nice and helped us get our prescriptions right before closing & had to wait for my doctor to call in the prescription around 8pm. Some of y'all can just be down right rude.

Be Aware! You can’t depend on their service if your order is important to you! They are very ignorant not letting you know if the meds are not available! My health was almost jeopardized by not filling my meds! They simply say the med is back ordered and do not know when it will be coming! They should’ve let me know ahead of time that I can do some research who’s got the med! A horrible experience that they almost killed me! ? Costco Gaithersburg No good place to fill your Meds! ?

Very bad attitude of the 'Asian' Lady at the Costco gaithersburg pharmacy. I was appalled at her behavior as a human being , forget customer service. Just picking up medicines which are already ready left an impression on me.
