All I have to say is the sales lady who has a nose piercing is very ruse and disrespectful.
Had to make a return, stood in line waiting for my turn, in the middle of my transaction she left, answered other employees and customers, came back and says “can I help you” with an attitude.
She is only after her commission, she told the other employee don’t let that woman leave, she picked a lot of clothes. It seems like the returns are not important.

Unfortunately Google does not provide no stars as a review. I went on Friday evening (6/7) to return two items and exchange 2 pants and it was a disaster. Roberta tried to help me with my returns but she lacked the experience needed to complete the transactions. I told her to separate the and make two separate transactions but Fatema (the Manager told her no do everything in one transaction). First mistake, I bought the pants with Carole and Sandy when the sale was 40% off linen. No surprise they wanted to charge me more for the pants, I complained and they changed the price. Then, they returned the jacket and the dress but then they cancelled the jacket. At the end, they shortened me by almost a $100.00 on the return. I told Roberta that was something wrong and she said no. While I was having dinner, I decided to go over the receipt and realized the mistake. I called and spoke with Fatema and she had the nerve to tell me to come back at 1 pm on Saturday so she would take care of me. I told her that I would return on Saturday morning and she had left a note that I would be coming in and they fixed the issue. Too bad for Chico's because I went through my wardrobe and pulled everything that I could return and was not used.
I had a problem with the same Manager back in 2017-2018 and it took Chico's two months to resolve the issue, when I complained with Corporate, they let go of the District Manager and left Fatema when she was the problem. During this period, Fatema kept the store with no AC, and I saw some things taking place while I was in the store and asked if they had cameras and her response was no.
Since this problem which Chico's still owes me money, I used to call to ensure that she was not working while I would make a return and bought online only.
I feel bad to have to write this review, especially that now they have two amazing associates (Carole and Sandy) but they need to do something about the Store Manager.
It is sad that I have been a customer for 18 years and I have seen how Chico's decadence and why they sold the Company. They have become extremely expensive and the craftmanship is not a 10. I discovered J. Crew, and went to GAP for the first time in 10 years and was shocked to see the quality of clothes. If you want design brands just wait for Macy's big sales.

I went there earlier today and the store associate was very rude. They were making rude comments and told us to leave. This store has nice clothing, just not nice customer service. They were very ageist and racist.

My visits at this location over the last several seasons have been consistently met by the associates’ stare, short glare and flat out ignoring even when I had troubles finding sizes and needed help. The store space is small and not busy most of the time. I avoid going in because of such unpleasantness and avert to making online purchases.

I used to like this store in the past. However - one of the sales associates made offensive comments during my last visit earlier this month. I will not be returning to this store and will reconsider my Chico's association. I should add that the second sales associate was very helpful. But we do not need to go to patronize stores where staff make insulting comments.

I agree with the other reviews. Sales associates could greet patrons as they come in and offer to help. I had to track one of the two associates, and she was ok in her response to my questions. Unfortunately they do not carry petite sizes, it is only available online. I was in the store trying to return a gift I got in exchange for something else. I was going to ask for assistance to see if she could order the coolmax turtleneck for me online, and she suggested I try the only size 0 (not petite size) they had in the store for that item. What a great recommendation, it fit like a glove. I thought the sleeves were going to be too long as they normally are if it isn't a petite size. The prices are a bit pricy to me, but they had some items that were up to 50% off. They also had racks of clearance items that had an extra 30% off. The turtleneck I purchased had a promotion if you purchased 2 it would cost $39 each. Otherwise, if you bought only a single, it cost the retail price of $65.50 each. They also sell accessories such as jewelry, scarves, and sunglasses. They also have a Chico's Passport Rewards in which members get 5% off every merchandise purchase and free shipping. Given the prices, mediocre customer service, and that they do not carry petite sizes in the store, I will not be returning.

Beautiful well made clothes. Had a 40% off sale and got to update my wardrobe at a price I could afford. Sales staff is always helpful and friendly.

I am never going back to this store. When I visited earlier this month, one of the sales associates made rude comments that I found offensive. This is the first time I have experienced such remarks at any store anywhere and I was shocked. I do want to point out that the other sales associate was very courteous and helpful but I am shocked that chicos would employ or franchise to someone who has no idea about what 2018 customer service should be. I have been a Chicos passport member for many years and have shopped at many of their stores including this one. In the past I have always had a good experience but I will not be going back to this store and may not every go back to Chicos either. very Unhappy past customer

Chico's at Rio is a smaller Women's clothing store located in Gaithersburg MD. It carries slacks, tops, sweaters, jackets and all types of accessories. Near the Holidays they will have dressy items. There is a parking lot close to the store. Free
