My son made his first huge purchase at carvana in Gaithersburg. The experience of Carvana is the coin and getting your car in the most unique way that’s out there. When my son came to pick up his car, the machine was not working, the sales associate and short and brief, and I feel as though it took away ALL pleasure from the car buying experience at Carvana. Absolutely no one who worked there in any way gave an ounce of happiness or showed any joy for this young kid making a $52k purchase. It was sad. I wanted to cry for my son. Reaching anyone online is impossible. Never again.

Dealing with Carvana was simple, quick and easy. Pricing was better than trade in and the pick up service was fantastic. I was paid exactly what was promised-no trick fees at the end. I highly recommend using Carvana

Man, I didn't think selling my vehicle would go this fast and easy. Carvana definitely was a great experience. I would recommend to anyone to sell their vehicle to Carvana.

TL;DR: Carvana lied about the condition of the vehicle. Lost the keys to the vehicle and damaged the vehicle while in their care. Do not purchase from Carvana and expect to get the vehicle in the condition they have advertised.
-Edit 8/21/24:
Emmanuel, you told me that you couldn't do anything to assist me with the concerns I had while picking up the vehicle. It is now my understanding that you lied. Specifically, the rear window concern. According to Carvana, you could have assisted me with my concern regarding the window and in fact you should have as that is part of your job. You should have submitted the claim and photos then and there but you didn't. Again this is according to Carvana. Why do you have the job if you are not going to actually do it.

Showed up for the scheduled appointment on time at 11AM. First thing we are told upon arrival after driving an hour to the facility, "we lost the key". They knew about the missing key since the night prior and instead of texting, emailing and calling me the night before, they wait until the morning of the appointment to call me while i am on the phone with my insurance company getting everything confirmed to pick up the vehicle. One call and a voicemail, that was all they did to try and notify me 15 minutes before we left to pick up the vehicle.
Well we get there and no key so they call a lock smith to cut a new key, fine. We go and look at the vehicle while waiting for the locksmith. The vehicle was advertised as having one scratch on the interior of a door. That's it, nothing else was disclosed and the pictures that were posted made the vehicle look to be in almost perfect condition. It wasn't.
Scratches, dents and dings around the entire outside of the vehicle. Most egregiously, damage on the back bumper from after photos of the vehicle were taken, rear window scratched to the point the window will need replacement, marker stains on the passenger rear door panel and the drivers door gasket torn. Like i said, most egregious, there are many more smaller dents dings and scratches but these are the main few.
All the representative at the facility could say is, "its not our fault you will have to speak with Carvana". I am sorry but your shirt has Carvana on it and you work for Carvana at a Carvana facility, how are you not Carvana.
On top of all of this the facility in which we waited 6 hours in was filthy, the couch was stained across the entire thing, the front desk with black smudges all over it. Just a poorly upkept facility in general.
We had been waiting for this car for almost two weeks, relying on Carvana to be honest with there advertisements as we were not in the position to not take the car and we were left with a vehicle we paid far too much for in the condition that it is in.

We picked up our Kia Carnival this past Saturday and the process was pretty seamless! I traded in my old vehicle and picked up the new one, all was well. We had to drive an hour to get to Carvana and we also had to bring our toddler, so naturally most of our attention was on her cause that’s just how it goes. When the guy gave us the keys for the van and we moved everything over, he didn’t show us anything on it, we just kind of had to figure it out on our own. One thing we did not do was look under the hood…big mistake. We drove it the hour home and smelt a burning smell, but I convinced myself it was other cars on the road. We get home and our neighbor who is a mechanic came to take a look at it and when he popped the hood, discovered that the oil cap was completely missing and there was oil sprayed all over the place under the hood. We tried to chat with Carvana and also tried to call whatever number we could find for them, but of course you can’t talk to real people and they kept directing us to filing a claim with their warranty company. That seems a little ridiculous for what should just be a quick replacement one brought/sent to us or being told definitively that if we purchase one, it will be reimbursed. We kept getting the run around and finally tracked an oil cap down 45 minutes away. So, $30 later and no word from Carvana. Also, another small thing was that there was also a valve stem cap missing from one of the tires and the rims were incredibly dirty. Overall, I'm happy with my vehicle, but I’m not happy with the seemingly rookie mistakes that were make when preparing the vehicle for us to pickup. I would appreciate a representative from Carvana actually reaching out about this to rectify because clearly this is the only way I can get my story out.

Would not recommend getting a car from here. I decided to buy from Carvana for the convenience, and was okay paying a little more for it. Then it ended up being more of a pain than buying from a local dealership. They delayed my pick up time three days, notified me 12 hours before about this, and I was not even given an apology for the inconvenience. The day I chose to pick up, I had a ride lined up but because of the delay I had to spend $80 on Ubers. Finally picking up the car, the website clearly says bring proof of insurance and drivers license, that’s it. I had uploaded my check from the bank online and it was accepted at home. Like every check has been deposited the past 5 years…. Upon arriving I’m told I need the physical check, and I’m still not sure why this was necessary what so ever. I then had to go to the bank and get them to reissue me a check, this took about an hour and a half. Hugely annoying. Get back had over the check and officially get the car. The smug, sleazy guy processing everything, still doesn’t offer an apology for this inconvenience. Absolutely no where was I told to bring the check, it was deposited online already. Ridiculous. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

I was glad that I bought my car here in Carvana. So smooth transaction and didnt take me half hour. Likewise, when I sold my car to them. It was way much better than Carmax. (8K difference). I was stunned and sold my car to them. I will recommend Carvana with flying colors

This was such a neat experience. It was also the easiest and quickest way I have ever bought a car. I highly recommend!

Beware of what you don't see! My son recently bought a beautiful 2016 blue Camaro with racing stripes that passed Carvana's 150 point inspection. Thankfully we saw a puff of white smoke come out of the exhaust and had our mechanic check into it. What he found was shocking: the entire exhaust system was covered in rust, there was salt encrusted on part of it as if it had been sitting in salt water, and the wheel wells were lined with rubbber from the car being used for drag racing. Thankfully we were able to return the car before the 7-day trial period was over!

I had my car 15 DAYS and I have to get a new battery there no coolant in my car and who knows what else is wrong. They took over two weeks to deliver the car stating that it was undergoing quality assurance inspection and then I get this. Stuck on the side of the road. They told me the standard is for the battery to have at least half of its life span. 15 DAYS!!! I’m pretty sure 15 days is not half of a battery’s life span. There’s corrosion all over the place. The tow truck driver just told me it’s both the battery AND the alternator. Carvana told me I have a warranty BUT I’ll have to pay the deductible. I JUST GOT THE CAR!!! Needless to say all the people I raved about Carvana to will be getting an update on not buying from them. Yes the process is simple but you just might pay extra in the long run.

So I received my car today. I have been extremely excited but also nervous...but as of today I will say the car was exactly as described online. The entire process was easy and convenient. The driver jasmine who delivered my car was exceptional. Super friendly and professional, and was super helpful explaining everything. I'm hoping I won't be changing my review, but I can honestly say as of today I am very happy with my family's new purchase.

Completely seamless process. Easy to get online quote, good price, easy scheduling for pickup and effortless exchange on sale. Took five minutes from the time they arrived to the time I had a check in hand. Could not have been easier or more efficient.

Carvana was easy to work with and when any issues came up, they were helpful and responsive.
