We have used Carlos Moving Services multiple times over the past 10 years and are very pleased with their work. They have been very flexible with us for the services we needed and made sure the items getting moved were placed where we wanted them for a fair price. Just ask them specifically for what you need done including moving furniture in your own house and removing items. Highly recommended.

Don't trust this company and its owner. They gave you low estimate to get you to use its service and then find all excuses to charge you extra after you are in their hand.

The worst moving company ever! They provided an estimate and promised that they will be at my place for moving today at 9 am. They didn’t come for moving when I called them they told me that they will come at 3 pm, but after many follow up calls told me that they’re not available. After couple of hours other people from this company called me and they asked for double money to do the job today. They were extremely unprofessional in communication and I have to pay two months rent because it’s not possible to find another mover on weekend. Not recommended.

Overall Expertise Professionalism Promptness This moving company robbed me of thousands of dollars worth of cash and belongings/merchandise they stole during two recent moves (as well as other moves according to their employee). Their worker told me they all (moving companies) do this all the time, and said another worker robbed me of a large bin filled with coins several years prior when I used this company. He added that worker was a MS-13 gang memeber. He also told me he was a former gang memeber. Antonio, another dishonest worker was spiiting all over the floor of my garage, grass, sidewalk and storage unit. He then exposed his penis in a family residential negiborhood, in broad daylight, and peed all over the side of my house. Carlos agreed to refund me for the most recent moves, but then failed to do so. He has not returned our belongings after several requests. We now have been robbed by these most unprofessional movers, exposed to the spit all over our grounds by their disgusting worker Antonio and treated in the most horrible and unprofessional manner. DO NOT hire Carlos Mejia to move you-you will not only be subject to abusive and unprofessional treatment but ROBBED of your belongings. I now have to deal with the police and coourts and legal system-stress no one needs following a move. I witnessed them loading up tools and stealing phones and my wallet, sports memorabilia, power washer, shop vac, kirby vacuums, small appliances etc....they were intimidating and beyond unprofessional. When I went to the truck to get my stuff, they stopped me and closed and locked the truck. They took multipole cigarette breaks and even smoked illegal marijuana on the job and on the premises-which is not ok. I would NEVER use this compnay again and do not recommend anyone else do so, unless you want to be ROBBED and mistreated. They also scratched my car and dis damage to walls and shelves and furnishings. DISASTER!!!

I was looking for economical movers and also who can do a good job. I did most of my moving myself but needed few extra hands to move my furniture and mattresses. I was shopping around for a bit and came across Carlos movers through one of my neighbors where I'm actually moving in. So called them to get a quote, the guy seems to be very busy, but he returned my call end of the day, and told me the quote. It was fairly lower than any other moving companies I've approached. I was bit skeptical but am in the process of moving into a home I recently bought, and almost everything had its own challenges. So thought I'll take a chance with Carlos. I was trying to save every penny, so did most of the disassembly/packing/wrapping myself to save labor & material cost. The guys showed up at least 30 mins before the appointment time, the truck came up early before the appointment time. They were very courteous and made it easy as I've already wrapped and labeled items. I thought there'll be 3 guys, but there were 4 of them who did a clean job loading all my furniture from 3rd floor condo in an elevator to their truck. When they were ready to go to my new place, I thought they're going to take a little break, so I took a little break and went to my new place. But the truck is already there ready to unload, so I opened the door, they started laying the floor rags, etc. Asked me where to place each of the items when they're unloading. They did offered help to unwrap the items what I've wrapped it myself. Overall, my experience with Carlos Movers was awesome and it's the only thing that went well with my whole moving and setting up the new place. I'll vouch for these guys. I really saved a ton of money going with these guys, and also doing most of the stuff myself, using them only to load/move/unload.

Carlos Moving totally deserves more 5-star reviews! I’m very impressed by the hardworking and strong movers! They did a great job wrapping and protecting my furnitures and did their best to help us move everything. I moved from a thee-level townhouse. They were very careful moving the furnitures through the stairs and didn’t cause any damage to the wall and my furnitures! When we got to the new house, they asked me where things should go instead of placing boxes and stuff randomly. And they were so nice even helped me move stuff from my storage. The moving experience was way better than I had expected! I would definitely recommend Carlos Moving to anyone!

We had them helped us move from a townhouse in Alexandria to Falls Church. The townhouse had some difficult winding stairs. They did a great job in wrapping the furnitures and navigating the stairs. Unlike the appliance delivery people, they did a great job of not scratching any walls. They even helped us move some stuff out of a nearby storage as a last minute request. The 3-man crew were efficient and fast. Hopefully we won’t have to move again anytime soon but we’ll definitely use them again if we have to.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. Juan and his team with Carlos moving absolutely save the day for me. I had booked with a another very unreliable mover and they completely ghosted me the day of my move. would not answer text or calls. I was moving a three bedroom home to room 30 minutes away. I happened to come across Juan and his team as they were moving another home and explained my predicament. Within hours he had gotten people together and moved me that evening. They were extraordinarily professional, had to go out of their way to get furniture into my home as it would not fit through the doors. Even going as far as removing a window to put the couch through a window. I wish i give them an even higher rating. If I ever move again I will absolutely use Carlos moving company!!

These guys refused to wear masks even tho they were dealing with elderly parents moving , they refused to take their shoes off in the house , had no tarp to lay on the floors , no booties to put on. their feet and then couldn't even give us a finished invoice , but expected us to pay them for what they hand calculated - meanwhile kept telling us we need to call carlos about deducting our deposit and of course carlos could not be reached Of the 4 moving companies I have used in the past , they were not the cheapest yet were the worst one - i sadly cannot recommend using them

I have hired their services to move my package on May 12th, Wednesday. I have clearly discussed the terms that they are not going to charge if the move is with in state. They have moved in 3 hours for 399$ including 40-50 min of travel and 40$ for plaster.After the move is done, they charged extra 100$ for travel. When i asked Carlos, he said that they charge 100$ for 25 miles which was not discussed or mentioned during our initial call.Now already they charged 399$ including travel and extra 100$ for travel.They are not going to listen or discuss on this. I am really disappointed with their unprofessional service just for sake of 100$.I really don’t mind paying extra 100 bucks if they are fair. In fact i thought of paying 50$ extra for the hardwork they did.They just gained 100$ today but they lost the values and customer relationship.Extremely disappointed !! Will not recommend this guys to any of my friend circle. I have already posted in the group just to be aware of this service..Its a good lesson and experience for me ..
