It's been a while since I've been here so I will like to go back soon to see if the service is as bad as some of these reviews. Mostly my stars are for the amount of stuff that this store has and the organization of the store! I came before a big trip I was going on and found everyyything I needed and more!

The store has a good selection of hair products and essentials. Unfortunately the cashiers who work here are not very personable or helpful. There’s a lack of professionalism and common manners.

NO STARS!!! Do Yourself a favor and CANCEL this establishment!!! I have been here a few times and felt uncomfortable with the customer service, but none like TODAY 2/10/24 when I had over $150 worth of merchandise in my cart, asked for a wig cap to try on a wig (per their instructions) and the employee DEMANDED that I pay $1 in cash for a wig cap. Since I don't carry cash I kindly asked if he could add the dollar to my total of items that I already intended to buy and he was ADAMANT as if I was a lowlife thief who would abscond with paying ONE DOLLAR for a cut off piece of hosiery (not even a wig cap) that they are making a thousand percent profit off of. I decided right then that this establishment was not respectful of me or my kind and that I would share my experience and NEVER return. You can govern yourselves accordingly but remember to NEVER support businesses that don't respect YOU! As for ME and my sphere of influence...it's a hard PASS on Beauty 4U Muddy Branch Gaithersburg!!!

The owner is very unfriendly and always act like your bothering him when you ask him a question, and forget about asking him where you can find a particular item, because he just points and says "over there!" Basically makes you want to take your business elsewhere and not to mention the fact that their items are very expensive.

This place is absolutely huge - like a grocery store with several aisles and has everything. Absolutely everything. Anything that you need for your hair including dryers, flat, irons, etc. Anything that you need to add to your hair if you’re looking for hair extensions hair for braiding, etc. They also have a HUGE assortment of wigs. Every time I’ve gone here I found exactly what I needed to find. They also have a cute little saving system so whenever you get to the cash register they look up your phone number and ask you if you’d like to apply a few dollars that you may have in your savings and of course I say yes! So the product options are excellent. The customer service is….OK. I’ll just leave it at that. It is not the horrible situation that some beauty supply stores create - it is “ok”. I don’t think you will leave here with that “I hate this place” feel. The bottom line is that if you are looking for anything for your hair, you will definitely find it and anything for your eyelashes, and basic stuff in make up - they don’t sell an extensive variety of quality makeup here, just basic lipliners, blush, etc. You will leave here with what you needed.

This place Is huge, and they use the space to provide an inordinate variety of hair care needs, hair style needs, costume jewelry, and press-on nails, and for all ages and hair types. They have a reward system, which is cool. You save with each purchase. There is a $1 fee to try on wigs. It's clean and spacious. It actually resembles the floor model of Alta, so very modern. The staff is mixed, with different ages and races. I really like this store and would tell everyone to come here. Prices are moderate and they have sales. You will say wow when you walk in! They set the standard for beauty supply stores.

They had an amazing section of wigs and extensions. You're only allowed to try on three wigs and you have to buy a wig cap for a dollar which I didn't mind. What I did mind was the clerk that followed me around and kept reminding me that I can only try on three wigs after as my friend and I had tried on fewer. It was a little annoying and I felt like she treated us like shoplifters or like we weren't serious customers. I'll let you know. I'm a grown adult and there's no reason for me to be followed around any store and reminded of the rules. This made me very uncomfortable. Needless to say I didn't buy anything.

I purchased a Kera Care shampoo from this store and before I walked out the store I noticed that the seal of the shampoo was broken. Not only was the seal broken but when I looked in the bottle I noticed some of the shampoo was missing- it was about 75% full. I immediately went back to the register and let them know and was then directed to a man who seemed to be the store owner who was dismissive and rude saying I could only get store credit and not a refund. He didn’t take into account the issue with the product and most likely put it right back on the shelf. He shoved the store credit receipt in my hand and rushed me out the door. A very unpleasant experience. Very sad how the retail business has gotten.

If I could give this place, zero stars I would, but obviously I can’t. I went here for a while, but the people are always snappy and rude, this time one of the employees gave me the wrong nose cuff. I call back, not even an hour later and they informed me they can’t switch it for me which is crazy because she gave me the wrong thing even though it’s only three dollars I don’t want it they just lost a lot of money from me. I will never go back Absolutely disgusting do not recommend I would drive 20 to 30 more minutes just to avoid this place.

Things have definitely changed here. The staff used to be so helpful. I went in today and asked where something was, the lady just pointed to the left side of the huge story. Didn't say what aisle or if it was on the wall or table or anything.
