The worst BofA branch, and I live in Darnestown. Service is often bad and recently they didn't like the way a check I was depositing had my name written (had a Jr on it but my account didn't) so they wouldn't deposit it. I went to the Potomac office and they deposited it, no questions asked. I will never go back there.

Never more than one teller, even with a line. Manager never goes behind the counter to take a customer, have walked out more than once.

Wait times are ridiculous. Employee was told ATM wasn't working. Says she'll put in a work order. Second person asks about withdrawing money. The same employee recommended to use the ATM within 3 minutes of being told it's not working. Two customers left without banking at the branch and I'm watching this while I'm waiting 20 minutes to be helped.

Lousy branch, lousy associates hardly speaking English. I expected more from BOA to be more selective on choosing employees.

Worst customer service, bad bank. You come in and they make you feel that you’re a prisoner, wishing to be free. So controlling and so petty!! I closed my accounts with them!!

I opened an account today and had a very calm, peaceful meeting with Relationship Manager Lending Specialist Louis Bikanda. He was very kind, patient, answered all of my questions, and explained things very well. I would highly recommend asking him to help with any financial activities.

Have the business and personal accounts with BOA for over 10 years. Had a wonderful experience at this branch, special thanks to Shaya Tehranian. She helped my parents and I set up new checking, savings, IRA, CD, and investment accounts. Her financial/banking knowledge is unbelievable. Shaya always made sure that we understood the risks and rewards of our every move before committing.

Sunk to a new low. I've been an Advantage member with BOA for close to 20 years. On December 23rd, the customer service experience I had with the staff at this location, along with my interactions with their corporate staff, was despicable. My son, who is disabled, shares an account with me (I am his legal guardian). Every payday, we've always deposited his PAYCHECK into our joint account through their ATM machine (outside their building). On December 24th, when I checked our online account, I saw they put a 12 day hold on his paycheck. Not a 1 day hold until the next business day (which is the norm for them), or even a 5 day hold, but a TWELVE day hold. When I went personally into this location and inquired as to the reason for this, they said there was a concern it might be returned. His paycheck? From the same company that has never bounced a check, where he's worked for five years? This is an ADP check, and the originator is Wells Fargo. I asked them to call Wells Fargo to verify the validity of the check, and their response was, "We can't do that." I asked them to return the live check to us, so he could go to Wells Fargo and cash it. Their response? "We don't have access to that machine". My interactions with their home office were no better. My son works a menial little job during holidays and some weekends. I am a single mother, and his earnings help me to support and feed him. When I explained this to an agent on the phone, saying they were basically withholding money from a disabled person, their response was' "We treat everyone the same". My son went to work that same day, and witnessed his co-workers getting their paychecks and cashing them. So there's no doubt of their validity. And my son? He won't get his paycheck because BOA wants to hold onto to it for 12 days. There was already money in this account at the time of this occurrence. His money (a mere $325.00)) was going to go towards our Christmas dinner, and he was going to buy a game online for Christmas. Thanks to BOA, he got neither, and was a depressed and confused young man. I had no reasonable explanation. Neither of us can comprehend this situation, especially since there has NEVER been an issue with his paychecks since he started getting them (for five years). I was always told that BOA treated people like a number. After reading their reviews, it's obvious that this statement cannot be refuted.. Once his paycheck "clears" on 1/3/2020, I will be ending a nearly 20 year relationship, and closing our account. Sleep well, and Merry Christmas BOA, you have sunk to the lowest of lows.

There is always a problem with the drive through. The ATM doesn't work 90% of the time, and they keep the light on as open like everything is okay. I even spoke with the manager suggesting to block the way with some sign so people don't have to waste their time, but still the same for at least 3 months. Also, there is never enough tellers inside.
