I hired Aptive to treat my yard for fleas and ticks using insecticide granules. They required either a credit card information, or my bank account information, so they could automatically bill me. Aptive's technician came and spread the granules ONLY on the perimeter of the front yard, and the perimeter of the back yard. I complained to the technician about the lack ot total yard coverage, and the MEAGER amount of granules distributed, and he only gave me excuses. I tried to leave feedback on the poor service I received, but the online feedback form was rather complicated. I tried to send an email to the person who set up my Aptive account, but he was no help at all. He works in Sales, and has zero concern about customer satisfaction. I obtained the customer service phone number, but got no help there either. Aptive contacted me about a later appointment (which they automaticlly set up without getting any input from me). On that same day, I emailed Aptive to inform them that I did NOT want the upcoming yard treatment. They came and did the next day's yard treatment ANYWAY, in spite of my attempt to cancel. I continued complaining to Aptive, but they basically ignored my complaints. I went to the bank that issued me the credit card, and had the credit card cancelled. Now Aptive is threatening to turn me over to a collection agency. The only good news, is that I found a LOCAL company that did an EXCELLENT job of treating my yard. I can actually communicate with LOCAL people in that second company, if I have any concerns.

The guy that came to the door him and I had a agreement but come to find out most of the services we agreed on did not happen after the guy shows up hours late. The price we agreed on was a complete lie. I will be using local for now on. Don't waste your money

DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. we satisfied our contract and they are still forcing us into more treatments. They are dishonest and I'm not sure if the treatments even worked. Their customer service is horrible and this company is a fraud with lawsuits.

Came to my front door and verbally offered a good deal. First service they showed 6 hours late and didn't perform some of the tasks they said they would. The verbal offer was a lie and wasnt even close to the contract. The contract was $300 to get out of, over $800 to stay. This company is dishonest in the beginning then collects cancel fees for profit. Hard lesson to me to check reviews and read contracts for any new company. Also, the chemical they most often use (Permethrin) is 10-30$ to buy at hardware stores. Only have to apply once a year to be effective.

I worked for this company for two years. Last year, it was ranted and raved to join a department that the company was streamlining towards. I applied and did not get the job the first time. I was offered another interview and I got the job. The position never panned out to be what it was told to be but it was supposed to be a good move. However, since moving to this position I endured a major pay cut, odd occurrences with no regard for human life nor decency, to just about 2 hours ago unemployed. It's heart wrenching because I asked constantly for about a month if something drastic was going to happen and would I at least still be employed, I was told from the director to my manager that there was nothing to worry about and I would be made aware if anything changed. Just as dreaded, a mandatory meeting was called, started late where we was thanked for our patience, to ending with being told we were without a job within a matter of 5 minutes. Meeting ended access to all platforms denied and that is the end of a two year stint with no offer to another position, no warning, no time to plan anything with the current state of the world. That's the Aptive way!

I have been with aptive since 2013 and so far they have been pretty good, although, I have noticed their prices increasing which isn't much of a big deal. Also, here lately, I believe they have changed representatives because they are not as knowledgeable as before, specifically, I was trying to use the refer a Friend feature and sign my mom up and I couldn't believe no one knew how to tell me what to do. The rep was nonchalant by stating, oh well, is there anything else I can help you with? I couldn't believe they didn't want new customers, she wouldn't even give me a supervisor when asked. I don't know, this company is getting a little shakey. I just told my mom to solicit another company. Ridiculous!

The sales man lied to us to sell a contract. We had a severe yellow jacket problem we told him needed to be eradicated. When the tech came to do the job we found out the only REPELL pests. Nothing they did helped at all! We cancelled.

Don't be fooled by their extremely polished sales pitches, extremely personable service techs, and smooth talking employees in general, because underlying this is an overpriced and very questionable service. Btw I seem to have more insects now since Aptive began treatments! Additionally, no one could really explain in detail what their treatments were derived from (ie what harm might it cause to say other wild birds/animals in the life cycle). And communicating with Aptive is absolutely awful, as their "automated" comms via texts/emails/phone messages are basically in an endless loop that gets you nowhere. Once finally through to customer service to cancel my service, Aptive was willing to cut their service calls by over 20% to keep me as a customer. And although I had to pay a cancellation penalty, I'm thankful NOT to have to deal with Aptive ever again.

A knock door sale making tons of false commitment. And after 4 month treatment, the situation is worse. Tons of ants and growing wings flys everywhere. And mice still happily making noise on my attic. And spide knit the net in the house. I checked mice trap, the bait inside it never be touched. Never never use this compay.

Had a young man come to the door to sell a pest control service. Said I wasn't interested and started to close the door, but he continued to speak. Again, I said I'm not interested and further shut the door, and he continued to try to sell. Finally say I am again not interested and shut the door. He proceeded to flip me off (guess he wasn't smart enough to notice the doorbell camera) as he walked away. My house could be infested with every bug on the planet and I wouldn't go with their business. Too bad I can't rate a zero.

I had an appointment on this date for the time frame 1-5 with an hour call. "Antonio called me at 1:52 PM, stated he was in the area and would be there shortly." One hour went by and I called Antonio back, he said he got caught up do I want to reschedule? I stated no, I took off work for this appt., Antonio stated he would not come today, and I had to reschedule and HUNG UP ON ME. Antonio then DID NOT ANSWER this call when I called him back. Was treated rudely and unprofessional. When I contact an Aptive supervisor, Mr. Galloway, I was told that Antonio called and said, "he was not comfortable coming to my house and cancelled due to that?????????" He told a lie and just did not want to come to my house. I told Mr. Gallaway and stated I took off work, he stated he "WOULD NOT COMPPESATE ME", "sorry you took off work. Will listen to the call and IF this has happened before, Antonio would be reprimanded" When asked if he would be reprimanded if it was a first time offense, was told NO Horrible company, bad management and employees/DO NOT CONTACT THIS AGENCY Terri Letwinsky

This company endorses shady business practices and are a scam!! Their door to door salespeople are aggressive and harassing. Never seen anything like it. And they seem to thrive from fake positive reviews. Can't believe they haven't been shut down

They are unprofessional and rude. Their salesman has came multiple days in a row ringing the doorbell and knocking at least twice both times. My husband answered and told him we were not interested (just like last yr) and that he didn't have time to talk to him. Meanwhile our two year old was crying at his legs and our dog was barking like crazy. The guy just kept going and trying to sell and ask questions. My husband said "I don't want to be rude but leave and I'm going to close the door" and he KEPT GOING! That guy was so aggressive and unprofessional in our opinion. We will never use them just because of there approach now two years in a row.

No stars. Super aggressive and pushy salesman. Doesn't hear "not interested" or "no." Came to my house twice in 24 hours. Told "no." Police are being called next time this company shows up. Recommend nobody hire this company.
