Ms. Jamilah has about 50 years experience in eyebrow treading . Whenever I visit her for my eyebrows many people from far and near town coming and setting on the chairs to take their turns to do their eyebrows. Everybody wait for her and have respect for her job because they know when they down their eyebrows their eyebrows change a lot even if they do have little eyebrows . With one touch of her hand their eyebrows become amazing lovely , and different . Also she does treading for Man and Woman’s eyebrow's . As well as waxing , treading, and tattoo .Thanks Ms . Jamilah

I have been going to Afsoon Salon to see Jamila for eyebrow threading for over 10 years. I had tried many eyebrow threading salons before, but no one does it like Jamila does! Any time Jamila does my eyebrows, I receive endless compliments on them! She is the sweetest lady that cares about all of her customers. I will not let anyone else touch my eyebrows! I have been going to Afsoon salon for 20+ years. Jamila started my eyebrows threading/waxing journey and I will forever go to her to get me right. She definitely knows what she is doing. I will always recommend her to my family, friends and even strangers. She is a gentle soul. She is the only person I will let thread/wax my brows. She is amazing and so is the customer service here. I love coming back here for eyebrows and upper lip threading. The pricing and service is excellent. Jamila is very nice in both her work and nature. I love our cute conversations when I visit there. Probably will be going there as long as Jamila is there.

Bad customer service. Curses at people and tells them to shut up. I just asked what her eyebrow prices were which were $15 which I said thank you and was leaving. she asked me how much I get them done for so I told her and she did this in response and cursed inappropriate and racial remarks.

Do not go here. The owner jamilah is inappropriate and has harassed multiple customers and thankfully someone has finally recorded it! Multiple reviews here, yelp and Groupon over the years have written she has yelled and cursed at customers and it is a common thing. She has no basis to be rude to people and any “video evidence” she may have will guarantee to show her harassing people who just simply inquire for prices. Please save your time and money. There are other places near by who have better services and are cleaner with kind, sane staff.

The owner here is crazy! Please share this video and do not come and support this business. I was scared for my life and quickly went outside in public. I wanted to inquire the cost of eyebrow threading here at Afsoon salon as I was passing by it only to be harassed by this woman. She told me $15 and I responded with oh ok and was walking towards to leave. She asked me how much I get it done for usually and I told her I get it done for $8. This is when she started going wild. She started using slander and racist remarks along with incoherent remarks and repeatedly told me to SHUTUP. I left immediately. I walked by her store after getting what I needed from The store next door and she storms out and starts yelling obscenities and something about 5 dollars which I have no clue what she was saying. I started recording immediately because I didn't not know what she was going to do next and at least she wouldn't come at me. She needs to go to an asylum and has no place to run a business especially in AMERICA.

I moved to the area from DC proper about a year ago and hadn't really searched for somewhere new to get my eyebrows threaded as I still commute in to DC for work. I randomly called one day when I needed my eyebrows done and could not get into the city and let me tell you I will never be going back to my old brow place ever again. The service was quick and easy, the technician was friendly ( I didn't catch her name otherwise I would include it here) and it was affordable. Most of all, they did an amazing job keeping my brows FULL and beautiful while getting rid of all the extra growth. My biggest complaint about other places I have been is that they take too much of my brow leaving them too thin and wispy, so I was really pleased with the results.I will absolutely be going back for more services!
