“Dicky Smalls is truly the BEST car repair and service shop in Maryland! I've had my cars repaired at many places over the years but their the customer service and quality of work are unmatched. “Where do I begin...this shop is top notch and I understand why they're highly rated.I went to Gary's for a second opinion after the first shop I went to didn't even inspect my car (literally drove it for 2 minutes and never put it on the lift) and quoted me over $1300 to fix what they guessed was the problem, which ended up not being close to what the issue was.When I called to set the appointment with Gary's, they took all of my information and my description of what was happening. Once I arrived for my appointment, Tony greeted me like I was a high value customer even though I'd never been there before. He already had my name and information pulled up and all he had to do was enter additional details in the record. I've never experienced that type of efficiency in an auto service shop. I gave him my key, verified my contact information, and was out the door.A few hours later, I'm talking to Tony and he goes into meticulous detail of what they did to diagnose the issue. Long story short, it was possibly a known manufacturer issue and he recommended that I see the dealership to confirm instead of charging me to fix something that may not resolve the problem. Tony even gave me a printout of the manufacturer notice to take to the dealership. I was taken aback and right there, Gary's Automotive gained a customer for life.It's very rare that you find an automotive shop with high character. That's customer service. That's integrity. That's who I want to do business with. If you need service for your vehicle, please go here because as Tony told me (and I experienced), they may not always have the lowest price, but they do great work and they'll be completely honest with you.”

“We found T to be an honorable and service-oriented mechanic who we now trust, will use when needed, and who we recommend without reservation.We discovered T when our regular mechanic had over a week backlog to look at our Impala that was leaking a lot of fluid and making squealing noises while driving. We called T, who answered the phone himself and had us bring the car in later that day. Upon arrival, he came out, greeted us himself, looked under the hood and crawled under the car to take an initial look at the problems. He gave us his initial opinion and we left the car with him for an estimate. T called us to come back the next day, see for ourselves what he thought was wrong and give us an estimate. When we arrived, he showed us a video he took of the pulsing fluid, shot bearings and other issues he found related to the problem as well as safety concerns he saw related to parts that were worn after 94,000 miles. He gave us a written estimate. After he fixed the car, he showed us all the parts he had removed, and a new video of the problem areas that had been repaired. His estimate seemed fair initially, and was honored when we checked out. T even called a few days later to see how the car was doing – we wish our doctor did that!”

“I have been taking my vehicles to Omega Auto Werks for ten years. I have always found them to be professional, courteous and honest. Because of this I will take the one hour drive to have everything from routine maintenance to major service performed on my vehicles. Julio and the entire crew know cars. The labor rates are more than fair and they warranty everything that they install. I had a set brand new factory shocks installed which failed due to defect. Omega installed an upgraded set of bilstein shocks at no cost to me. I will continue to use and recommend them to others.”

“What started out as a very disappointing experience with Midas ended up being quite positive, thanks to Dana.I brought my car in to Midas last week for an oil change and tire rotation. First, I was told that it would take ~45 minutes to get these done, as had an appt scheduled. It ended up taking ~2.5 hours. On top of that, after I returned home, I discovered that the tire rotation did not occur.I visited Midas a day or so later to express my concern and displeasure, and Dana immediately stepped up to empathize, apologize (it wasn't her fault) and work with me to make the situation right.Today that occurred, as Dana fit me into their schedule at a time convenient for me, and got the tire rotation done very expeditiously.As I told her, customers do remember when mistakes, omissions, etc. occur, as everyone's time is valuable and no one wants to make an extra visit to get something right when it should have been done that way originally.But, equally important is how the business responds once made aware of a problematic situation, and that's service recovery. In this case, Dana was totally successful in that regard, and my family will use Midas again. Perhaps as soon as tomorrow...Services: Tires”

If you aren't car savvy you can actually trust Vipre to be 100% transparent with you. My parents came and met Shammit and instantly felt comfortable with my purchase--and they are never like that!Bought my car from Vipre a year ago after having mine totaled in an accident when I was hit on the way to work. I had looked around for a week or two before meeting with Shammit at Vipre and I should have saved myself the time and gone directly there. This is concierge car shopping, folks! I had a brief meeting to discuss what I did and did not want in my next vehicle in terms of features, my budget, any color preferences, make or model preferences, etc. I went in on a Saturday morning and by Sunday my car was on its way to Vipre from Florida. Was impressed with everything about it. Family-friendly service and I've been a well taken care of customer since. I have three satisfied coworkers who also have at least one Vipre vehicle. As long as they are in operation I will not buy a car anywhere else.”

“I have been to several Porsche dealerships/service centers over the years, but Porsche Silver Springs by far stands out like night and day compared to the rest of them. The standard of customer service and professionalism is on another level. The attention to detail, attentiveness, and desire to ensure the customer stays informed they provide is unlike any experience I have had at any dealership period. The staff is highly knowledgeable, relaxed, methodical and process oriented to ensure that nothing is overlooked, and everything is extremely well documented and presented in an organized way. For example, I have a Macan that was experiencing some drive-train issues that no other Porsche dealership could figure out and spent months frustrated and irritated that dealerships kept giving up on trying to find a solution. I had the transfer case replaced and even the entire PDK replaced at the recommendation of another dealership (under warranty thankfully), but those turned out to be misdiagnosis' and although I am happy to have almost a brand new car for free, I was about ready to give up on the thing. I figured though that I would give it one last try and brought it to Porsche Silver Springs and worked with Kofi and Christian. They pinpointed the issue as a faulty cam position sensor (probably a $150 part) causing the engine to misfire within 1 day and had my Macan running like new. They took videos throughout the entire process and went above and beyond to make sure that the issue was resolved and that all the issue replication conditions were extensively tested following repair. This is the level of service you expect when you own a Porsche and I'm not taking my cars to anyone else but to them in the future. I greatly appreciate this dealership for their commitment to customer service and fulfilling on the Porsche standard and I hope others see this review and give them a shot if they need service or repairs because they are incredible people to work with.”

“Ron Askew changed my life in one day at BMW in Silver Spring, MD. I knew exactly what kind of truck I wanted and he fought hard for me to get approved to get my dream car. When I say he put up a fight for me because I didn't have the best credit in the world. He was not going to let "not approve" be an answer. There was an employee I didn't know who diagnosed a problem and was overly anxious to work on my vehicle before checking whether that was the actual problem. When I expressed my concern, the employee had to be told twice to let Fadil work on my vehicle. The next time I took my vehicle in, didn't see that employee so gave me a sense of relief that he would not be working on my vehicle. I only trust Fadil, and one other mechanic as well as the current owner to work on my vehicle as I've never experienced issues once the work was completed. Trust means everything. Although my vehicle did not pass inspection, they could fix it then and there. Which was just a quick phone call to get everything rolling. Everyone on the phone was helpful and Hugo at the front was super friendly as well. You have 30 days or 1000 miles to bring the vehicle back to the station and inspector that performed the inspection will re-inspect the car.”

“Great experience- they treat people assuming they know about cars but will answer any and all questions. Chris was knowledgeable, and never once talked down to me (I know a bit about cars, and other shops (AAA,etc) mansplain every step, even when my questions make it clear that I already know how a car engine works).Their cost is competitive to other shops and they offered a quick turn around (I didn't need one as I had a second car to use for the week, but appreciated the offer). When I needed to leave the car an extra day, it was no problem.Had all my brakes replaced and a couple new tires- the cost was slightly less than the AAA quote (with membership "discount"). It all went smoothly.They don't have any kind of shuttle service, so you'll spend $ on an Uber, but I'd still use them again for sure.Service: Brakes”
