I love that these stores are still around. I like the convenience of buying digital but having a game disc for the bigger titles are way better than trying to download huge files especially since I live in a rural area. The guy was nice and super helpful, gave me lots of info about the game I wanted and what to expect. Also they have this new try it out system that if you don't like a game you can swap it within 48 hrs of purchase or even get your money back. So they are staying relevant with everything going heavily towards digital downloads. Which I love.

Bought a preowned game here and ended up disliking it so I went to return it exactly one week after buying it. The employee seemed confused and like he did not know what he was talking about. He first said that because it was the 7th day of the 7 day return policy, I couldn't get my money back. I explained that it says on the receipt that I can still return it as it is not past the 7 days. He then said he can't give me cash because of Covid-19 and I said that's fine, I just want my card refunded. He refused and said he could only give me store credit. Then he proceeded to explain to me that apparently the reason people buy preowned games is because they can trade them in for another game if they don't like it, which doesn't make sense since the receipt clearly says preowned games can be returned within 7 days for any reason. I took the game back and called the store in Salisbury mall and the employee there assured me I can return the game and so I had to drive twenty minutes out of the way just to get my money back. I do not recommend this particular store, you're better off taking your business to the one in Salisbury!

I went to exchange a game title. Was told it was new when I purchased it used and at a discounted price. Then as I was leaving (I simply realized that they could not help and didn’t want to be a bother) the customer associate said some extremely rude things to his manager about the interaction thinking I was out of ear shot.

They lie to customers and do not follow policy. I was a pretty loyal customer until today.

I’m not a huge fan of GameStop and never really have been but I’d return here purely for the customer service. Brian helped me out when I really needed to find something and I was able to get exactly what I wanted. Thanks again :)
