They got me this morning too. Officers were super friendly and explained everything to me since I'm new to the trucking game. Did end up out of service for 10 hours and received a $70 fine. Take it on the chin learn from it and don't worry about it anymore ?

There hammering us today,both bays got a truck,looks like 2 or 3 in line.Yet a beat up f250 rolls down the road with a trailer barely staying together,obviously overloaded.Nothing to see here.

Nice DOT officer, friendly. Wasn't going out of his way to find anything wrong. I have a new truck so passed level 1 and got a hundo from my company and a 90 day sticker ?

Sadly got a ticket here for having a suspended license that was not suspended. Computer error but was given a citation regardless. After proving it was ok was told just to pay the ticket or go to court to fight it.

Decent people here. Definitely keep paperwork in order and on you. Be prepared to have logbook accessable as well. Just in case. Other than that good folks and willing to work with you and get and keep you on the road and legal. Just remember they have a job to do as well.
