If I could give 0 stars I would. The room we were given was so nasty that I felt sick. We were then given a smaller room with no hot water, no secure lock, no closet, no dresser, broken blinds, and a filthy chair. Please don't believe the positive reviews like I fell for. We left and found a wonderful place right down the road. Plus the clerk could barely speak English so he didn't understand our concerns. The worst experience ever.Safety: The door only had the key lock and a cheap slide lock like ones used on a screen door. I didn't feel safe at all. Factored into our decision to leave.

Excellent!! I recently stayed here during my business trip and my experience exceeded all expectations. Nice and clean room, comfortable bed and fast WiFi. The manager is a very nice person. As a frequent business traveler, I liked the comfort, convenience and a conducive environment of the room which helped me to stay productive. I am looking forward to my next here. Thanks!

I’m currently staying here for work. My last day will be this weekend. The owner of this motel is an Indian man and he is very money hungry. I’ve been paying on a week to week basis and he would come knock on the door the day before for payment. I told him I’m not paying a day before. Today my payment was so and I came to my room first to change. He didn’t even give me 10 minutes before he came and knocked on my door. It’s annoying. He is also outside arguing with a man that paid him for a month because the man owe him 100 dollars. And that’s going on as I’m typing this. It woke me up. I can hear him saying he will give it to him in the morning but the man put a lock on his door and threatened to call the police. The man in the room anyway because he paid him for a month. The rooms aren’t that clean and they have ROACHES. Stay somewhere else people.

Paid for 8 days in a double bed/kitchen room. I've never been in such disgusting rooms before. I didn't even feel comfortable removing my shoes. Filthy carpet, stained furniture, broken blinds, dirty kitchen, flys in room, no hot water from bathroom sink, door was hard to close and had flimsy locks that a criminal could easily break through. The kitchen and bathroom floor had obviously been cleaned with a greasy mop and I almost fell down.The guy at the front desk barely spoke English and struggled to understand the room was a dump. Gave us a temporary room with 1 bed. It wasn't much better. In the end my mother and I left and stayed in the hotel down the street. Don't believe the other reviews on here.Safety: First room had a flimsy bottom lock only, the second had a small sliding bolt lock( the kind you'd find out a porch screen door)Other guests at the time did not make me feel better. 5 kids playing unattended around people's vehicles, another couple gave me drug addict vibes. Obviously the hotel is not responsible for the lifestyle of their guests but it gives you an idea of who's staying at the hotel.Obviously my mother and ididn't feel comfortable staying in a complete dump.

It is what it is. Neither good nor bad. It is a business in transformation. Apparently some not so savory characters had set these people's business on fire cooking something they shouldn't have. At least that's the story I heard. I see the remodeling results in the front of the motel are very good. The back rooms have not been remodeled. The back rooms should be remodeled for the price per week. There is a stove but no hood. The little food store inside the lobby had a very random selection but it did have common staples as well. The family that owns this place are nice. Only the difficulty in communication may give you the feeling of rudeness but this is not the case at all. They are actually nice. All in all it's too pricey for the unremodeled units but not for the remodeled ones.

Great location, easy to get in and out of the city. The staff was wonderful. The hotel is well maintained. The rooms were very good.Especially, enjoyed the view in-front of the room.will definitely visit again and would recommend

Nice spot to crash for a night or two. Owner is very nice, and he has a small convenience store right at the office that he says is open 24/7. Enjoyed my stay.

5 stars for the room because the bed was comfortable and the shower was clean. Good room for the price... Older neighborhood Motel so don't expect Hotel quality. However, the service is great! If you need something just ask! The Desi family store has things you forgot and they even let me borrow their can opener! Convenient location with gas and groceries and history just 5 minutes away, stopped at La Vale toll gate house but couldn't go inside. Just 20 minutes from Lake Habeeb with boat rentals, hiking, and a swimming beach in Rocky Gap national park. Oh and nice historical bridge across the street with a beautiful stream.

Clean; quiet; well kept older motel. Friendly & welcoming owner. Dog friendly. Coffee; refrigerator; & microwave in room.Rooms: Clean and comfortable room. Remodeled bathroom.Nearby activities: Situated between historic Frostburg and Cumberland. Dan's Mountain overlook is spectacular.Safety: Well lit and security camera monitored.

I was in town for a business meeting. The reviews & pictures had me believing this place would be a comfortable hotel for a few nights in town. I was sadly mistaken. This place was disgusting and filthy! Not safe for a woman alone either. The owner seemed nice until I witnessed him berating the housekeeping staff. Filthy, unprofessional, and unsafe.

I travel with work and this is at the top of any average price hotel, I have no idea why this place doesn't have a better rating. Newly done bathrooms, very clean, a refrigerator and freezer as tall as me, microwave, desk, nice beds and one thing that's important if you're used to staying in hotels, electrical sockets, good electrical sockets, if you know you know. Oh and the guy who's at the counter is awsome, very friendly and there's also a small convenient store in the hotel office, microwave dinners and candy, pop etc. 3 miles away from all your town restaurants too.

What an amazing great sueprise! Booked 3 rooms for me, my wife and crew. At this bargain price my expectations were low. But wow, ive been in three star that were not this nice. Neat, clean bathroom. New paintband fixtures. A great shower, no tub. Comfortable beds. My only suggestion is bring your own pillowcase to go over the shams, but aside from that this these are great rooms.

Efficient, cheap, I went solo. I needed a bed and shower for a short stay, and this did it at an excellent price, and was precisely what I needed and wanted. I would use them again if I were in the area, which I likely will be.
