Since my review keeps getting deleted and I have still heard nothing more than a month later I’ll keep making accounts. I originally went in to close out my mother's account. We never had an xfinity account. Omar told me I had to be added to the account in order to close it out. Then once I was added I was told I could no longer get any first time customer rates. I talked to the manager Austin and he told me there was nothing they could do. So I'm confused as to why Omar had told us had I not been added to that account I could've gotten first time customer prices. So his mistake is the reason I'm losing more money a month and no explanation as to what could be done. There was no number given to me that I could contact and I left extremely dissatisfied. I'm already looking into other service providers in my area because this was unacceptable and I have no choice but to continue for the time being due to the remoteness of my house. I look forward to having a phone call about my experience if able.

Comcast sucks. Automated system is a mess. Every year price goes up. No regulation whatsoever on these hidious ppl by Congress. Eagerly waiting for an alternative. BTW this review is not for the store employees. Blast Internet started at $49.99->$59.99->$79.99 ->$90 for $110 in the name of superfast. no alternative other than terribly low speed for $80/month. so users are forced to accept $90 for 1yr then again price will go up.

The WiFi is good but the person over hyped what Internet I needed I ended up changing my plan myself from 99$ a month to 30$ a month didn't need all the extra stuff .

The second another internet provider comes to my area I’ll be switching. Unbelievably awful customer experience and predatory billing practices knowing they are currently the only option in town.The customer service in store is decent but good luck trying to get anything done with their automated services or over the phone. They care not at all but wringing every dollar out of you.Internet should be a public utility.

Kingfisher dr Frederick Maryland location is terrible. I’m sitting in the store now for the third time trying to buy and trade in my iPhone 11 for an iPhone 15 the first time they said the special credit of $800 didn’t start for two weeks. Then I came in two weeks later and they said the system wouldn’t take my credit. Now I’m waiting for the second time Because they said they call my name and I wasn’t here but the front desk person said he would call me because I went next-door to do a little grocery shopping but he did not and he said it was his mistake but they put me back in line and now I’m waiting and waiting And very upset

I made an appointment online to drop off equipment after replacement equipment was received. I walked in about 2 minutes after my 15 minute window started and was acknowledged right away and taken care just a few minutes later.It only took a few minutes of my time, so I had a good experience.

10/07/2023 re. the female with dreadlocks who works there. Why isn't there a 0 on this scale?? DO NOT SWITCH your VERIZON cellphone to this Xfinity garbage. I have spent over 10 hours on the phone in the last 2 days because I cannot make calls from my phone. No-one on the phone could solve the issue. I was told to go to this store in Frederick so they can change the SIM card so I don't have to wait for another one in the mail. I got there and the guy in the front changed the SIM card but could not resolve the issue so he had me wait 30 minutes for a tech person. Because it was 7pm that woman who was supposed to fix my phone said my husband is the only one on the account and she could not help me. My son was with me and I could not think straight after waiting 30 minutes and wasting so much time on the phone. I was livid and could not believe the cruelty. In retrospect, I could have signed into my account on my phone right there and added myself to the account. But this girl and Xfinty have been so horrible I could only think of switching back to Verizon. No one on the phone or the first guy who helped me knew about this so called policy? Very convenient policy to get out of helping people when it is closing time. I signed into my account the next day to add myself and there is no option to do that. What I discovered is that I am already on the account. My phone number, which I have had for almost almost 20 years (before I got married) is still listed as mine so saying I'm not on the account is a lie. Furthermore, it is my credit card, in my name, that pays the bill so you cannot tell me I am not on the account. I am the one who switched from Verizon to Xifinity and not my husband. Time is money and I spent two day on the phone with Xfinity trying to figure out why I could not make phone calls. They sent me to this Frederick shop to get. new SIM card which was done but I still could not make calls. So this woman refusing to assist me was extremely upsetting. she either did not know how to or she wanted to go home and used some BS nonsense about me not being on the account.

Xfinity TV and DVR services are abysmal. Too expensive by at least 100%, equipment stinks. Rewind, fast forward of recordings is slow and cumbersome at best. I’ve had 2 different DVRs in 2 months. First called, original DVR was replaced. Second, I was charged a $100 service fee when they came out to “fix” my system. No improvement. I don’t think this problem is unique to my DVR; probably lousy software. It’ll cost you to get good service, at least in Frederick Md. Ultimately if they have to replace your DVR you’ll lose all your saved, to-be-viewed recordings. Typical cable monopoly. Avoid paying for their DVR service. If you can’t watch it live, “fahget about it” unless they agree to NO service charge and loss of recordings. There’s a reason streaming has become so popular. It is superior to cable TV services. Note here I’ve never had such terrible service provided by a different cable service elsewhere.

Went to turn in my old cable box, there was a line so I signed in, the Xfinity person scanned my old box, remote and cords, confirmed my name and address then gave me a small slip of paper. I asked if I was done and was told that I needed to wait for a X rep to finish turning in my equipment. 30 minutes later I asked how much longer it would be and found out that my name wasn’t even on the wait list. But that I would be served next, two customers and 15 minutes later I needed to leave. So I was told that I could leave and they would return my equipment later but I have no receipt or I could take my equipment back and drop it off at a UPS store, ok… give me my cable box back….X rep. searched the bin of equipment for 10 minutes and could not find my equipment! So at this point I am not sure if my equipment has been turned in or not? I had to leave so I took a pic of the X rep and my ticket. What a terrible system! The X reps were helping people buy phones, sigh up for cable, getting internet help…. Which all take lots of time….. so those of us just dropping off sit there trapped for way too long!
