I'm surprised by all the negative reviews of this UPS store location. I've always had excellent service here. I often need odd sized boxes for eBay sales and this store has the best selection and helps me with different options.

By far, the worst customer service I've ever experienced! Not helpful at all. Charged me $30 because my box was wrapped (which is how it was delivered). When I explained that to the employee, he argued with me that UPS doesn't ship wrapped boxes. I kept advising him that it arrived via UPS in the same manner. After several minutes of going back and forth, I asked for a manager. I was told no manager was working. When I asked for the employees name, he hesitated and gave me what I believe to be a bogus name. Nevertheless, I will NOT patronize this facility again...

Arrogant and condescending worker. Refused to print a receipt for my UPS drop-off or text a receipt. Why would u leave a package without a receipt? I didn't I took it and left. I will go back to my original store. Thought since I was on area this would be convenient. Never again!

The staff is so rude! They either don’t want to do their job or they’re acting shady towards the black people that come in. I’ve had 3 bad encounters at this location. They are terrible. They also refuse to accept packages at random for random made up reasons. Pretty sure that’s illegal. The white bald headed old man is rude as well

The worst location for shipping stuff. Why would you choose a place where your customers can't park anywhere near the door. Heavy packages? You will have to carry them at least 150 feet from the parking lot. The one by Wegmans is much better.

The manager (maybe franchisee) of this store is very arrogant and not really good with conveying the truth.I haven't been to this store in a year or so because of his arrogance, but was close by and decided to drop off a package. He still refuses to give receipts even when I question what happens if his store misplaces my package before the UPS truck gets it. His response was no Frederick store gives receipts to which I corrected him the Urbana store does so. He then said the other 2 stores don't, which translates to he also owns the other store. Avoid this UPS store as you're on your own if they misplace your package. Also the only UPS store owner who would not do notary services.He also tries to intimidate potential UPS store owners from opening other stores in the area to compete with him and the awful customer service they provide.

1st and last visit to this store. I should have read reviews first. They do not provide any receipt and they do not like to be asked about it either and gave short impolite answers. Basically you have to have 100% trust these folks are doing their job correctly otherwise you are screwed.

Workers are rude. Won't provide a receipt when asked. Big dude with beard" just take a picture of the tracking number". Mountain postal has my business from now on

$2 for a piece of tape. Seriously? I will continue to drop my packages at Mountain Postal where there is customer service and a lack of exploitation.

This is my local UPS Store. The service is usually not that great, but I try to support them anyway because they seem to support veterans. Well, I've had it. I went in a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday and the clerk says they are closed. I'm confused because the door is open and a couple of people are milling about. He notices my confused look and says, "We close at 3 o'clock". I look at my watch. It's 3:04. Really? I have also noticed this may be a trend in Western Maryland. Customer service in general is pretty bad in this part of the state.

I dropped off two packages for Amazon return. Only one package reached Amazon the second package seems to have been thrown away. I am out the money on the second package since it was never scanned into the system.

Super rude people. Go to the UPS Customer Service Center at 6766 English Muffin way instead. They are open Mon-Fri. They will give you a receipt without asking.

I've been using this store faithfully for 2 years, and I always found it very odd that they NEVER want to produce a receipt for packages that are dropped off for shipping. The response that they give is always that your tracking number is your receipt. No, it's not. Tracking numbers are created when a label is printed. The package should be scanned at the store showing proof of changing hands.Well Friday we dropped off a package and the clerk told my husband to leave it on the counter - now the package is nowhere to be found and has no tracking history.Very clever.Called MULTIPLE times to try and find resolve, only to be met with flippant, hurried responses and was basically told "sorry, I don't know where your package is".Well needless to say, I won't ever use this store again, but I also am not going to accept that response as closure. See you in court.

Dropped off my AT&T boxes for return and I caught an issue after getting home with the receipts (showed two of the same serial numbers). Mike and Carlos worked with me over the phone to resolve the issue patiently and smoothly. Great service!
