I love coming to stores like this and I can honestly say this is one of the worst I've ever been to. The whole beauty area is in shambles, so many empty boxes and destroyed products just scattered on the shelves. Just a mess!

I bought a luggage in T.J.maxx urbana at frederick Md. I bought a month ago, the luggage was cute but bad quality zippers opened in the trip and luggage had a big hole. My other luggage’s was perfectly fine because I bought in different store and they were an expensive brand. I went to manager at f the store on duty a white old woman and she act rude and racist. She scream in front other customers and told me when they ask for help find out by yourself. And felt so bad because I’m a customer that have two credit accounts with these stores and at the end she treated me like a homeless no like a customer. I try to reach T.J.maxx customer service and they just gave me an email and told me that submit pictures and receipt but they didn’t care either to resolve my issue. I spent 89.99 plus taxes for a bad quality luggage and they refuse to give me a store credit. And I felt treated so bad because of my race.

I’ve literally never been here and there’s not a huge line with only one or 2 registers open. While getting discounted clothing is nice, standing in a long line with screaming children and irritated parents who need to get on with their lives is intolerable. It’s 11:30am while I write this. 2 hard working cashiers against this line with 6 people behind me and line wrapped outside the entrance. Multiple associates on the floor and absolutely no attempt to get the line down made. Lady behind the counter sorting hangers and fooling with printing labels. 3 people with huge cart fulls of purchases and at least 2 returns as well in line.
This is poor engagement from management which is no where to be found of course.
The cashier was super friendly and very positive despite the odds against her.

Terrible customer service experience! Jennifer N. from the dressing rooms was very unfriendly and made me and my parents feel very uncomfortable. I shop frequently at this store and I am a loyal customer. I worked for multiple years in customer service and I was taught that you should always treat everyone polite and without an attitude.

Horrible place to work for. A male manager that works there is unprofessional. He has inappropriate relations with the girls who work there in his car and gets under the influence with employees in his car. He got one girl pregnant while working at TJmax. And manipulates woman when it’s brought to HRs attention so no one says anything.

I had Tham as my cashier and have not had more of a pleasant experience ever! A great worker in midst of the large line wrapping around the aisle of the store with holiday shopping.

Minutes ago, I was shopping on the food aisle. There was no one on the aisle nor on the two outside aisles. A female store clerk pulling a large box on wheels comes right to the aisle I am on. She firmly states “Excuse me” and then stops right where I am shopping. Instead of waiting for me to finish shopping, she bends over right in front of me all the while she is mumbling. Clearly she showed she had no intentions to allow me to shop. TJ Maxx should teach their store clerks common courtesy to their customers so they do not lose business.

Injured at T.J. Maxx due to negligence.I was visiting T.J. Maxx today looking at their scented candles, I picked one up and sharp pain shot through my finger, I set the candle down and a shard of glass was stuck in my finger. The back of the jar that the candle was in was badly cracked, the crack was not visible from the front of the jar so I had no idea that picking it up was a bad idea.I was bleeding pretty badly, I notified the staff and they did get me a bandage, but were otherwise uninterested in doing anything to rectify the situation. I would have expected that they would offer some kind of discount or credit to apologize for their negligence but after speaking with the manger nothing was offered.My wife was also looking at candles and found another one with broken glass.We will probably avoid coming here in the future as it seems there are issues with quality control that are also safety hazards to customers and even to the staff that work here.I did file a report, we will see if there is any accountability but I'm not holding my breath.
