it's a good place with lots of selections. The biggest downside is that you have to be wearing clothes as the sign States out front.

So I'm not normally easily upset by people or businesses. But I was at Spring Ridge Liquors today and picked a bottle of liquor that was marked at $69.99. It rang up for over $92. I contested it and showed them the advertised price on the shelf. They refused to sell the bottle at the advertised price. AVOID THIS PLACE. I have been in there at least 30 times in the past 10 years and they are never pleasant. Plenty of other choices nearby.

I have lived in Spring Ridge for about 3 years and have frequented this shop throughout this time. The recent review has it exactly right. At first I thought it was sort of endearing that I could buy pumpkin beer whenever I felt like it. But this business has a bad habit of leaving beer on the shelf and in the refrigerator well past its appropriate shelf life. Not dangerous or anything, but certainly shady.Went in this week to buy something for the summer, and grabbed a prominently displayed Hell or High Watermelon, thinking that it was newly in stock. Got home, opened it up and it tasted awful. Then reviewed the expiration date saying that it was packed May 2022, over 14 months ago. Also bought a case of Guinness Baltimore Blonde which turned out to be 8 months old and did not taste very good either.I went back today thinking that they might recognize an opportunity to make things right with a frequent customer who has spent several hundred dollars in the store. Instead they unapologetically told me that they could not take it back. I told them they should throw their bad beer in the trash and stop selling it to people.Frederick Wine House from now on!

I’ve been here many times to buy beer. As long as you check expiration dates (some beers are 6+months expired) you should be fine with beer.Other products have a higher than expected markup. I went in today to buy angostura bitters. The 6.7 oz bottle was the price of a typical 16 oz bottle (25$). I told the cashier this did not sound right for the size, but they were adamant that it was. I voided the transaction and went to Weis next door and purchased the same item for $11. There is also a 4 oz bottle of that product so I understand how she was confused with big vs small bottles and prices. In my mind, this is a huge mistake for a common product that should have been corrected when pointed out. Definitely research an average price range before going there for liquor products.

You call yourself a liquor store?? She harasses everyone that comes in. “do u have ur id” as soon as we walked in. I am of age and she still wouldn’t let me buy?she discriminates especially when u look young. Don’t go here on ur 21st either, they turned my brother down. I took my business elsewhere
