Skip was referred to me by a friend in Lexington and when I contacted him he made me feel at ease and answered any questions. I decided this was a lender I could trust. Skip worked with me for over a year and I finally purchase a home in Glen Allen, VA. He met with me at my home in Lexington, VA, traveling over 3 hours, just to start my mortgage application and to make sure I understood the process. I don’t believe any other lender would have taken the time to meet me at my home. Skip also went to my Closing in Glen Allen, VA. Skip was there with personal face to face service. Wonderful Mortgage Broker! Skip was referred to me through my Realator, Mark Featherstone, for the purchase of my first house in 2010. I appreciated the work Skip put in to get me the best deal for my mortgage that I went chose Skip for the refinance of my home and later the purchase of a new property. Skip was always good to work with my schedule. He would frequently meet with me in the evenings and on the weekends to help move the process along. Additionally, Skip came to each closing to help ensure all aspects of the loans were in order. He really made each experience as pleasant as possible.

Skip was highly recommended to me by my brother, a VP in mortgage lending. When I refinanced in 2017, Skip was super-responsive from day 1. He came to my house in Martinsburg several times to go through paperwork with me and help me choose the right program. He even came to the closing with me.
We went with an FHA loan, which had some different gov. compliance requirements, including adding handrails off my low deck and front porch. Skip himself came out and poured the concrete and built the rails! I am very happy with the personal service and the mortgage I got.
This was my first time as a single person to go through the mortgage application process, and I wasn't expecting it to be so complex and emotional. Skip made what could have been a frustrating process really easy. He could be a therapist!
I recommend Skip 100%, and will definitely use him for my next purchase or refi. You won't be disappointed.

I first worked with Revolutionary Mortgage when buying my first home in 2007 on recommendation of my real estate agent. Skip was wonderful, spending all the time I needed over the phone and in person to answer questions about the process and finding the best possible solution for my financial constraints. He made the mortgage process as smooth as possible, coming to meet me at my office or wherever I was when there were documents to sign and coming to closing in person.
