It makes bathing my dog way easier and they provide everything you need. In addition, they carry a wide range of healthy treats/chews and dog food. The quality of their products really shows how much they care about your pets’ health. The staff is super nice and knowledgeable about their products, which is a huge bonus.

5733 Buckeystown Pike, FrederickI was hesitant to come here a few years ago because of mixed reviews, but we are 3 years in and have only had positive experiences. Dan is my dog's current groomer and she loves him. He does a great job. The staff behind the front desk are very friendly. Prices have gone up a bit in the last few years, but I will continue to go here because of how comfortable my dog seems to be and each visit goes well! I also want to note that about a year ago my dog stepped in tree sap and it completely messed up the pad of her paw. Happy Dog made room for her in the schedule to take care of this as I expressed concern because the pad of her paw had a small tear. They cleaned and fixed her paw up flawlessly. I appreciate how kind they are to her!

I was absolutely panicking on the phone I could barely speak clearly. They were so understanding. They told us we could bring him immediately. We got there and were seen as soon as we walked in the door. I was distraught.They made us so comfortable during such a hard time. They told us we could take as long as we needed "we are here until midnight, there is no rush at all. You guys do whatever and take however long you need" the one lady who's name i forgot to get said to us! They had a comfy bed and snacks ready for him, very knowledgeable staff who helped gear us through this horrible decision we HAD to make for our dogs well being, they had brochures in regards to support; so much more than I would have thought that comes along with losing your best friend. They never rushed our goodbyes or stressed payment while we were trying to make decisions and figure things out. They were absolutely amazing and definitely cared about the care they provided our Biggie and family. They were so extra understanding and comforting for us we will never forget it!I highly recommend you take you pets here if your regular vet isn't available. We have three more dogs so I know we will!Thank you VetUrgency!

We appreciate how caring the Doctors and technicians are. I also really appreciate how kind and accommodating the person at the front desk is. There have been times I needed to cancel an appointment due to my cat escaping, and you have been very understanding. One gesture that showed me that you care was when I could not bring my cat's stool sample promptly, and the Dr. just gave me a new container so I could collect it whenever possible since I had already paid for it. I love my pets as they are part of our family, and I feel so thankful that I live a 3-minute drive from your practice. It means a lot knowing your team is there when we need help.

434 Prospect Blvd, FrederickOur puppy at 5 months old fractured her tibial turberosity and Skylos was the first recommended surgery clinic on the list from our vet. I am so happy we put our faith into Dr. Kennedy and the staff at Skylos, they have been nothing but wonderful and knowledgable. They always remember our pup when we’ve brought her in for rechecks since. We are 6-weeks post-op and couldn’t be happier with the results of our Regi girl’s surgery and care. They made a very stressful situation so much easier for us to manage with their guidance. Surgery isn’t something everyone can afford, so I totally recommend pet insurance! Our surgery was 5k total (including medications, follow up appts) and insurance covered 4k.
I would recommend the staff and care at Skylos to anyone and their pups!

25 Thomas Johnson Dr, FrederickNot sure about some of these crappy reviews but I'm the real deal, a local resident of Frederick who didn't worry about price shopping for my sick pet. I called Yellow Springs last Friday morning after being in the ER the night before, Dr K called me back promptly and advised me to come in ASAP. Daisy was there all day, catheterized, given IV fluids and blood work, and diagnosed with pancreatitis. The entire staff stayed late, helped carry my 75 pound dog to my car, and Dr K called the vet at the hospital, sent records and helped navigate my dogs admission. They didn't do all of this for free, but they were efficient, compassionate and quick to help in my time of vet emergency. My sweet girl Daisy is now at home and doing great. Thank you to the entire staff for your help.

When we were honest about the financial barrier, the doctor still gave him the bare minimum treatment and recommended options for us in the area that she has professional connections with. If Kevin is dealing something that’s going to take daily treatment for the foreseeable future, we need a more affordable option and the vet here did everything in her power to hook us up. Definitely recommend!

32 Thomas Johnson Dr, FrederickIn May of 2023 we adopted Dakota a 90 lbs. German Shepard / Chinook 2-year-old puppy. We did not know much about our boy's first couple of years growing up. He did settle in with us nicely. However, the more comfortable he felt the more he became a resource guarder, nipping at people who came over to the house. We had tried a couple of in-home trainers and found that we are great dog parents. However, we are not good dog trainers. So, with a couple of recommendations from family and friends we made the investment in Sit Means Sit. Dakota was lucky to get Cole as his trainer. We enrolled Dakota in the 8-day program, and hoped that this would work, to help him feel more comfortable and stop the nipping. We started to see improvement right away. Having Dakota labeled an aggressive dog was a horrible feeling, but we knew we had to get training to help Dakota. Cole worked with Dakota, and they became good friends right away. Dakota was always very excited to go to Sit Means Sit. He enjoyed training with Cole, and he learned very quickly. Dakota graduated Doggy college at Sit Means Sit, just the other day with honors. We can see how well behaved and settled he has become. We know we still must work and train with him all the time, but we are so pleased with Frederick Sit Means Sit, and Cole. Sit Means sit not only helped Dakota, but us to, to become better Dog parents. I can't say enough good things about the people at the Frederick Sit Means Sit. From the office staff to the trainers, it shows they love dogs and their jobs. These guys really know their stuff. Top notch people and clean facility. If you love your dog, its well worth the investment.

105 S Market St, FrederickAbsolutely worth a visit (and another one and another one!) Hubby got the Smith Mountain and I got the Havanna, each sandwich comes with a side (drink is separate/extra). The pricing, portion, and of course taste were all great. The shop is easy to spot, metered street parking is available, and it’s location in the downtown area is awesome (near to the Creek). We chose dine-in and the seating area was def a vibe (see pics). Place is clean, well lit, menu is clear and available outside the store, inside above the counter and also on paper. The customer service was good, staff were polite and attentive. Now I got a sandwich spot.

1781 N Market St, FrederickGreat brews and atmosphere. Nice outdoor area that I believe had a small play area for kids and a bunch of tables in the shade. Food trucks and live music are there often just not when I was there, but that's not what I came for anyway. Quick service and the bartender was good about making recommendations on his favorite brews. It was a really relaxed environment, the inside room with tables was totally empty as everyone decided to enjoy the outside space. The bar area, the first room you walk into, is kind of cramped and small but I was only in there to get my beer and didn't feel a need to be in there for long. Overall I really enjoyed this place, perfect for hanging out with friends and trying the local brew.

Flash was a stray, seriously starving 7.9 lbs ribs showing, very shy....basically a cat heading for the end, BUT....with outstanding volunteers who helped us connect, outstanding rescue vet services: excellant vaccinations, flea/ringworm/etc. prevention, detailed observations, safe neutering, loving of staff and volunteers, and just good attention....,,I connected with him! I recently lost my 13 year old companion and rescueing Flash has done a fantastic job to help with loss. Well, I love the Tour de France and would you know it he is a fan too!!! Flash is doing well and THANK YOU Frederick Animal Rescue!!!
