Walked in today and the sales clerk had major attitude. It didnt even take a minute before I decided I wanted to walk out. Such a shame how poor customer service ruined what should have been a fun shopping experience.

Very helpful staff who obviously love the sport. Im new to fly fishing and they made me feel welcome. I witnessed a great conversation between an employee and apparently a regular customer. I will definitely come back!

Worth the 40 min drive from NoVa. Cute store right downtown. Well well stocked store with many brand names to choose from. Went in for a pair of wading boots and came out with a whole outfit. Boots were on sale which helped. Brian was super patient and helpful and knowledgeable. Rung up nearly $800 in new gear and told him I'll be back to their store for more, so I asked the other guy (manager) to throw in a free store logo hat ($25) and he said no. Kinda shortsighted and funny I thought, but I'm still giving a 5 star.

A search of your store indicates it is “open!” I drove there only to find it is “closed!” The “prudent and responsible thing to do...” is to label it CLOSED! Additionally your answering system indicates one can leave a message! Not true! There is no “You May leave a message after the tone!” What seems like the appropriate time to leave a message is so short before it announces “Good bye” that it is not possible! BLUF: Very poor impression of your store! Sorry I drove to it!

Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, had what we needed, greeted us appropriately, gave us the perfect time to browse before assisting us, quick efficient conversation and listened to our conversation while still getting us on our way in an efficient manner. This is a fine example of a small well stocked store.
