“Very friendly staff, and they don't typically try to overcharge you on anything. For example, I requested a tire rotation however when they checked the tread depth, all 4 tires were wearing evenly, and so they told me it was unnecessary instead of just doing it anyways for the money. The only thing they tried to sell me on was an engine flush which is *not* recommended by Toyota despite that employee's claim it is (I checked the owners manual twice on this).
Otherwise they changed the oil way faster than expected, double checked the oil level after topping off, and had a viewing screen where you can watch the tech under your car do his thing. He also double checked that the drain plug bolt was in place tightly. I appreciate the double checks. That's always nice to see.
Overall probably the best place to get an oil change in Frederick. It's a bit more expensive, but it's worth the trip as they're super helpful, fast, and honest.”
“I was told I needed new tires on my Convertible Mini Cooper, by a tire store in Frederick, Md.
One day as I was putting the top up on my convertible, the plastic cover just fell off of and left all of the instrumentation exposed. I called my body shop to see if they could fix it, but they informed me that they could not and suggested I go next-door to Churchhill Auto Care. I called them and they made room for me immediately.
The part to replace the cover over the instrumentation panel would have cost me $700 not including the repair costs. However, there was a young man there who specialized in Mini Coopers and he repaired the plastic cover at very little cost to me.
Back to the tires, when I was there, I realize that they did multiple things. I asked Brandy if they could take a look at my tires. Immediately a young man began to look up different kinds of tires for my particular Mini Cooper. Then he went outside and took a look at the Mini Cooper tires, because I had bought the car used, but it only had 20,000 miles on it. It didn’t seem that that average 60,000 miles for tires was anywhere near being reached. Apparently, the dealer in Virginia, where I bought my car had switched the tires before they sold it to me. The thread was thin on two of the tires, but not bad at all on the other two.
Sadly, the mechanics I had been going to had put the two bad tires on the same side of the car. Although I had paid for having my tires balanced, apparently they don’t realize that the car is front wheel drive and that the good tires should always be on the front of the car.
Instead of having to buy four tires like the tire store guy had told me I needed. Churchhill told me I only needed two tires and they should both go on the front of the car.
Instead of paying nearly $1300 for all new tires at the tire store, I only paid $600 at Churchhill for two tires.
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate having an honest dealer to work with.

“If I could rate Auto Enhancements 6 Stars I def would! I've been getting oil changes, tires, brakes & all maintenance completed by their shop team for the last 22 years, and they have worked on 4 of my cars, all different makes except for my Lexus & Toyota. Even when I dated a mechanic, I still brought my vehicles to this shop! When the Turbo blew out on my AWD Eagle Talon, they rebuilt it and did an immaculate job. When the frame rusted, they gently nudged me to get a newer vehicle for my own safety. I feel safe in my vehicles knowing that all work done on them is to the highest standards, by experienced mechanics. Other shops I've called in a pinch have said they are too busy to help me, which sucks when your car isn't working! Auto Enhancements' team will get you a ride when necessary because they understand you have other responsibilities while your vehicle is with them for service & they will not leave you stranded on a weekday! Do not hesitate to contact them for an honest assessment & estimate for any of your vehicle repair needs. You can also ask about specials, because generally there is at least 1 to select when you are getting other maintenance done anyway. Highly recommend, their customer service is straightforward and professional always. I cannot thank their team enough for the consistent service and value they provide to me as a longtime customer. “I ordered some tires online for my car to be installed at the Germantown Walmart, but when I showed up at 2:00 for my appointment, the appointment was somehow lost. They were unable to get me until the next week. Knowing that there was an impending snow storm, my girlfriend suggested that I call the Frederick Walmart and ask if there was any availability. They said that while it may take longer, they should be able to help me as long as I brought the tires from Germantown to Frederick since they were already paid for. I brought the tires over and with the help of Ashley, Jean, Robert, and O'Neill, I had my tires installed and ready to go in 1.5 hours. I cannot thank them enough for their willingness to help me in a tough situation that the Germantown location put me in. I am incredibly grateful for the team at the Frederick shop.”
