If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I have never had a negative experience with a company like this in my entire life. Late 10/2023, my wife and I began the process of buying our first home. We began this process with the clear understanding that NVR would take care of us and close us by mid-12/2023 before our apartment lease was up. It boggles my mind the level of incompetence of these people. In my opinion, It’s not worth any discount on closing costs to stress yourself out with these robots. Their lack of ability to execute on basic customer service is atrocious. When we got to our original closing date of 12/14, we were informed that we “misunderstood” and that additional information was needed. The failure of NVR cost me both time off work and hundreds of dollars extra out of pocket to move into temporary living without much more than some corporate “I’m sorry we didn’t communicate” jargon. In early January, we found a new lender who got us both a significantly lower interest rate and got us closed in less than 4 weeks from start to finish.Save yourself the time, headache, and money and avoid this company. Not all loan/mortgage people are bad, but these people are without a doubt the absolute worst.
