This MyEyeDr location works like a smooth oiled machine. Jim checked me in and was multitasking four activities simultaneously, very professionally and efficiently. Shana proficiently performed my retinal imaging and some other baseline tests before handing me off to Dr. Anupreet Chawla, OD, who talked me through each eye test and explained the results in detail. She was knowledgeable and took the time to answer my questions and made recommendations for options for future lens needs for long-sightedness. She made me feel I was in competent hands. Amanda assisted with selecting my frames and she was very astute at locating exactly the perfect pair of frames that she cut 30 minutes off of my visit! She made sure I took my time and that I was happy with my selection. This MyEyeDr office location is the best kept secret!

My first time using My eye doctor. The staff was nice enough but Dr. SAMUEL CHADO was awful. So very rude and condescending. Didn’t explain anything didn’t even take the time to let me know what had changed for my prescription and didn’t even look at the prescription I had brought in from a year ago from another eye doctor, just said I needed new glasses. I never even got to see my new prescription. Then the up sale on everything for my new glasses. Again nothing explained just it’s a bundle and it can’t be changed. Even if I didn’t want the warranty and other ridiculous items for a pair of computer glasses. Won’t be going back. Please beware of this place and Dr. SAMUEL CHADO.

I usually go to the eye dr on 26, this was my first time making an appointment at the eye dr in the mall. Cause I had stuff to return at another store. When I got to my appointment the lady at the front desk already looks like she has an attitude. She ask me for my ID i said I don’t have my ID but I have a picture. She paused gave me a dirty look and said she will just take my insurance card. Very unprofessional she did not have to treat me that way it was not that serious. I will not be returning to this one. I will be going back to the one on 26.I also work in customer service for a very long time and she was completely rude for no reason. If you don’t like your job don’t take it out on your customers!.

Currently the location has only one eye doctor and one receptionist with a line of patients waiting to be seen. With the receptionist missing half the time people are "missing" their appointments depending on who gets face time first. Since everyone is running being appointments are being overridden. The appointment behind me got seen before me, a full 26 minutes after his scheduled time! Reconsider this chain and specific location. Perhaps find a smaller clinic that will actually not waste your time.

Total JOKE. I scheduled an appt online just 3 hours earlier (same day) and there were 11 other open time slots. What... nobody wants to use this place? However, I never even got in to get disappointed. Blessing in disquise? I called the office because I didn't know it was in the mall (the info listed by my insurance carrier did not say "in Francis Scott Key Mall" and I was across the street looking for a MyEyeDr sign. I sat on hold for 3 minutes and then the receptionist answered and told me where they were. I asked if the doctor would take because I was going to be 5 or 6 minutes late. She put me on hold for another 4 minutes (by that time I was already walking in the mall) and she said that they would have to reschedule me!? WHAT?! I just hung up. She sounded like she could care less about customers. This doctor or whatever he/she has a certificate in should be tossed out by the franchise. You had 11 open appointments today - sketchy. I am sure a new tenant will be in the space you wasted in the mall by Christmas.

Absolutely do not go here. I went here because my company sent me here to get a pair of prescription safety glasses. I had my appointment at the end of June to get my eyes examined and pick out the frames for them. It is now the beginning of September and they still aren't ready. Every time I call or go in, they tell me it's going to be another 2 weeks until they're done. Meanwhile, I'm damaging my regular glasses by wearing them to work. If you're looking for somewhere to go that gets stuff done in a timely manner, go to the MyEyeDr in Thurmont. They always have my glasses done within a week or two.

Very Dissatisfied!!!I had placed an order for contacts for my daughter over 2 weeks ago and was expecting the order to arrive by now. I have tried to contact the front office, and am not getting any proper response. I had asked to speak to the manager and was told that the manager is very busy at the moment and will call me back, have not received any call so far. today I called , the first time I was put on a very long hold and eventually the call got disconnected without speaking to any one. later when I got to speak to someone and asked that my order be cancelled I want to take my money and business else where, I was told only the manager can do it, and he is not available today.Reading all the negative reviews , seems like I am not the only one with bad experience.

I was very pleased with my experience today. Everyone was friendly and pleasant. When it was time to pick my glasses Zenab was very helpful. She took the time to actually look at my facial features and suggested glasses that would look the best on me. She also kept me laughing ? ?

This place has been so difficult for us. The attitudes of everyone working there are tough to manage. We often leave feeling upset or just confused. The prices are much higher than anywhere else, but we are stuck because of the health insurance plan. The limited availability is annoying and now even their phone lines don’t work when you call. We were hung up on 4 times today June 24th.When you call or visit a business you should not be met with people who feel like you’re a bother. You’re in deep need of customer service training at this store. It’s bad.Also please get phone lines and computer systems that work.

I have been going here for several years and my last visit was a less than a 1 star experience. I scheduled with my normal doctor and they said due to their over scheduling I had to see someone different. I agreed, and I wish I had not. My exam was rushed and I couldn't understand half of what was being explained to me. Then my consultation for frames and lenses was pretty much a sales pitch, not actually what I needed or listening to my needs or concerns. I then asked to reschedule for a re-check. Long story short they tried to discourage me from doing another check and tried to push me off saying I just needed to get used to them! Needless to say I will be seeking a new optometrist.In addition when I went to pick up my glasses at 6:45pm and the posted hours said open until 7pm the door was locked and the receptionist proceeded to get an attitude when I asked if I could just pick up as they should still be open. When calling the receptionists do not provide support and are extremely unfriendly and tend to have an attitude.

Ordered glasses the beginning of April and still have not received. It should not take this long. I have paid for an item that I do not have. Will be taking my business some where else!Update after 6 weeks. 1 phone call from the GM after my complaint. Lots of apologies and no solutions. I had to complain to receive any solution which required me to choose another frame and work with a different associate. No incentive or discount offered for my inconvenience and time. The communication at this office is horrible. I will think twice before ordering glasses from here again.

Promised glasses in 2 weeks. 5 weeks out and no contact from this office so I went in to check. I was told my order was canceled for some reason and then placed again but no one knew why. I was promised a call today and when I realized I hadn't heard back yet, called to check once again. I called at 5:55, it is now 6:17, I am still on hold and my daughter called from her phone and they are closed. Instead of dealing with a client who is already unhappy with their service, they placed me on hold and LEFT. Unbelievably hideous customer service and the most unprofessional business I have ever been to.Update: Glasses finally arrived at store on Wednesday, 7.5 weeks after ordered. Finally got a chance to pick them up Saturday morning and the prescription is completely wrong. Huge fail. Additional lenses said to have been ordered for existing frames, nowhere in sight. No manager or assistant manager in store to speak to and was told I may or may not get a call today when the manager comes in. Was told I could wait approximately 2 more weeks for correct prescription or get a refund.
