Do NOT shop here. I went into the store today with a friend and my mother. I am biracial, my mom is Asian, and my friend is black. Although the employees greeted us when we walked in, they very obviously followed us around the store and even made moves to stand closer to us when we were looking at the jewelry. We immediately left. Reading other reviews it seems this behavior is not unique and many other people of color have had this same experience. Stay away from this place.

If you are "White" and you appear to have money then this is your store. The employees that work in this shop are the most snobbiest people I have ever encountered. My husband and daughter came into the store today and immediately the employees were eyeing my husband and daughter who are "Latino" and "Latina", like they were thinking "You don't have enough money to shop here." I came in a little after my husband and daughter and I was looking around and the employees were friendly and were helping me until they noticed I was with my husband and daughter and then their whole demeanor changed toward me. I like to point out that I am "White". The employees were very cold, unfriendly, treated me with disdain, and seemed appalled that my husband, daughter, and I were together. The employees started following all three of us around their store. I had plan on buying a Brighton purse however, after the treatment my family and I received from this store we will never return to this store. And I will make sure I let everyone I know and meet the treatment we received. I wish I could give 0 as the rating to this store because this shop doesn't even deserve 1 as a rating!!!!!!

I don’t even want to give this company 1 star, it was the only way to leave a review. I placed an online order for a necklace my granddaughter picked out. Oh yes, my card was immediately charged. Over a month later, I was finally able to contact the seller and was told that the item was not even in stock! Legitimate companies do not take your money until the item ships., but not this one. They never contacted me to let me know they were out of stock and the customer service said that they did not know how it “fell through the cracks. “ Do not trust these people !! They will take your money, even if they do not have the item. And then don’t let you know, cancel the order and refund your money unless you chase them down.What does that say about this company??? I was told I would receive a refund, but haven’t seen it yet.

We were wondering around downtown after celebrating Valentine’s Day with lunch and came in. We’re were dressed up, but still casual. I wasn’t carrying a bag. The sales woman followed us through the entire store and made it very clear she thought we were there to steal. No one enjoys being treated this way. I guess we didn’t appear wealthy enough to shop here. There were plenty of other businesses who were glad to take our money. ??♀️

Wonderful jewelry. Dresses for every occasion. This is a unique shop I can spend hours in. Everything I buy here receives multiple compliments when I wear it.

yeah no , they follow you around if you’re not white . I’m a black girl and as soon as I walked in one of the old ladies followed me, then try to have a conversation with me, when I pick something up that I was ready to buy, she kept asking if i was done shopping .

A nice shop with a nice selection of items, but we didn’t stay and browse much as we were being watched carefully by staff and felt uncomfortable. After our visit I read in other reviews that this seems to be a recurring problem. It’s unfortunate that they’ve likely had issues with shoplifting in the past, but I wish their staff would be a little more subtle.

I enjoy shopping at Molly's. You can rest assured you are treated fairly and courteously. The sales associates are the best: Robin, Lori, and Patricia. These are the ladies that I encounter the most. Robin knows me so well that when new clothing comes in she will notify me immediately and say "Princess', we have some cute,cute, cute things that I think you'll like. It doesn't matter if I am wearing St. John Knits or fresh off the exercise circuit. I am never treated poorly. I've shopped here for over 15 years, and I must say the boutique is awesome. The owner knows me by name. I love that personal touch. This is my favorite shop by far. I usually stop by maybe 2-3 times a week just to be greeted by the friendly faces.

This is the boutique to shop. It doesn't matter what I look like when I go in there, I am always treated with dignity. At times, I am wearing St. John Knits and other times, I am fresh off the exercise circuit. At Molly's there's no big' Is 'and 'little yous'. I've been shopping at Molly's since I moved to the area 15 years ago. I make at least 2 visits a week there. Robin and the other sales associates know me by name and clothing preferences. Whenever there's something new that comes in, and Robin thinks I might like it, she will call me. Often times, I ask her to send me pictures. Sure enough she knows my taste. I wouldn't have it any other way. I adore the shop and the owner.

It was not lost on me that I was the only young, non-white person shopping here this afternoon and that I was the *only* person there shopping that an employee asked if they could “hold onto that item at the register.”I was here shopping for a few gifts for my close friend with my fiancé and was holding a single lavender candle. I promptly gave it to her and asked my fiancé if we could leave because I no longer felt comfortable shopping there anymore. I will never consider shopping here again, and strongly encourage the employees do better.
