My family and I stopped at Mission BBQ in Frederick, MD to grab something to eat after our son's dentist appt on March 13th. We traveled 2 hours for his appt so we figured we owed ourselves some good food before hitting the road back home. And good food we had! My fiance and I eat baby back ribs every chance we get and we love trying new places. We are so glad we chose to stop at Mission BBQ! When we entered the restaurant we were kind of thrown off because you go to the counter, order your food, get your drinks, find a place to sit, and then wait for your name to be called then go get your food. It was a little worrisome at first, our first thought was we order ribs at the counter, no server?! We ordered and then in no time our name was called and a crew member helped my fiance bring it all to our table and we dug in... let me tell you something. If anyone reading this review has the chance to stop at Mission BBQ at any location, do not pass it up! Hands down the best baby back ribs we have EVER had!!! Talk about fall of the bone, juicy, great taste, and decent size! Our son had the salmon filet which was also delicious. Every crew member we encountered was pleasant and knowledgeable. As we were eating a young lady named Anita came along and stopped to check if our food was okay and if we needed anything. She was such a delight! She gave us some background on the restaurant and their food. How the restaurant came to be and how it is a family restaurant. She told us about the pit boss and how he goes in at all hours, on his own time, to check on the meat so it is always up to the restaurant's standards. We talked about how hard it is to find workers who care about what their serving, especially in the food business. After our conversation, we were packing up leftovers and Anita came back to our table with cards for each of us for a free sandwich at any location! Anita was so nice and she made a great meal into a wonderful experience all together, everyone did!!! We have to go back to Frederick to our son's dentist on April 4th and we already have plans to stop in and eat at Mission BBQ!!! This was probably the best experience I have ever had at a restaurant! Props to all of you working at Mission BBQ in Frederick MD! Keep up the great work! It really does make a difference to some of us!!!

Dennis is the absolute best! We ordered a 10 person meal and once we got there it was about $100 more than we thought because the girl on the phone gave us a quote for 150 some bucks. He comped our salad and he helped us carry everything to the car and I got to tell you this barbecue is amazing! Thank you for being so cool and helping us out and giving my mother the best birthday dinner she’s ever had.

The food was so good I forgot to take a picture ?. I got the moist beef brisket sandwich which in my opinion is the best!And the kids pulled chicken sandwich was also very good ? and delicious, my little brother of 8 yrs old and I highly recommend this place!My mom and grandma got the pulled pork sandwich which was good but they wished they had my brisket sandwich ?My dad got the three meat sampler with brisket, pulled pork, and sausage. His favorite was also the beef brisket!

It was our first time at Mission BBQ. They have outstanding customer service! We were given coupons for next time. Free dessert. I got the brisket sandwich (lean). It was delicious, great quality, and a generous amount! We will definitely be back!

The smoked turkey is my favorite. The cheesy potato side and green beans and salad are also favs. All of their meats are wonderful and smoked perfectly. I highly recommend. The staff is so friendly and efficient. Great place!!

I love this place even though I’ve only been there like 2 times. The people are so nice and actually want to connect to the customers. The atmosphere is just so nice.Food is good of course! I recommend the turkey sandwich!!

First time visiting Mission BBQ, we order brisket and ribs. Everything was delicious. Place is kept very clean.Daniela gave us excellent service! She came to our table multiple times and even gave us a free dessert.Definitely coming back.

Absolutely the friendliest staff! Checked on us several times and made it a welcoming environment for our group of two families with small kids. Add to that the high quality and delicious food Mission BBQ is known for... It was an excellent choice for our lunch out! Food was ready quickly at what must be a peak time. Highly recommend this location and will be back.
