They quoted me over $2,000 to fix items for my MD state inspection. I was able to decline their assistance and I went to another mechanic and I got everything fixed for around $350.Something I thought was really odd was that they asked me what I did professionally. They realized I was white collar and not broke from my title and overcharged me for it I'm assuming. Clearly they are overcharging because they are close to an MVA and are hoping people get their car inspected by them.All of these 5 star reviews by accounts with only 1 review is an obvious sign they are making google accounts to try to inflate their score.Sadly this story gets even worse.I went back so that the inspector could check on all the fixes. I guess they did not realize I was in the lobby. The inspector said the car passed then corrected himself by saying "actually I am gonna fail him for this" I don't think they realized I was in the waiting room and heard their entire conversation.The front desk lady came back to me and said I needed to complete one more adjustment, but she said they could not fix it because legally they could not as the inspectors. She stumbled over her words in her explanation, she didn't even believe herself subconsciously I guess. I thought this was quite funny because they were more than happy to repair my car for $2,000 earlier. Perhaps when the car is inspected again by them they cannot but I doubt that.I went to a repair shop really close nearby and they all laughed and said that a car cannot be failed for what they failed the car for. They "fixed" the issue and gave me the MD state trooper's number to report this issue. I never reported it because I was busy but in retrospect I should have.Really sad that it cost me more to get the car inspected by them three times and fix made up problems than to actually fix my car.

Did not complete the 4 wheel alignment/ told me my was driving "straight as possible" in other words the tech didn't know what he was doing. Did the best he could?

Always great customer service and exceptional mechanics. Biggest plus for me is that I feel they are trustworthy and don’t pressure customers into unneeded repairs.

These folks (especially Heather) SAVED me! They seemingly did the impossible three days before Christmas. If I hadn’t stopped here, I would have definitely broken down in the middle of the winter storm. Instead, they found the problem (and the part), trekked out 45 minutes and back to bring it for me and fixed it in a few hours. My car is good as new!

Once again, it was a pleasure bringing my car to Albert and the entire Milex team. As always, I knew I could consider the work and advice trustworthy and that my car was handled with care and respect. The work was completed quickly (yet properly) while I waited at the shop. My experience at Milex and my confidence in the work after I drove the car from the shop was no less than exceptional, and for future work, I, of course, will be bringing my car to Milex again.
