As a first time home owner, my experience with Maryellen Little/Fairway was wonderful. Throughout the whole process Maryellen was in constant communication with me, answering all my questions, foreseeing potential issues and addressing them before they happened. Maryellen, is very knowledgeable and meets you where you are, she answered all my questions on a level I could understand and made the process very enjoyable and I even learned so much from her. Maryellen spearheaded our entire home buying process which was VERY much appreciated because I had never even considered buying a home before, so all the terms and the whole process was so extremely foreign to me. We got everything taken care of so efficiently, and even the speed bumps we hit weren't an issue because she figured out what was needed and simplified everything for me. (And for the record, NONE of those speed bumps were due to Maryellen or Fairway Independent Mortgage.)I would recommend Maryellen 100x, and will probably use her again if I purchase different or additional property in Maryland!

Maryellen went over and above for a first time homebuyer - I absolutely recommend giving her a call. She answered all of my (many) questions, presented us with options and the effect of those options on our ultimate loan. She was amazingly attentitive and responded to emails or calls very quickly. The title company at closing even made a point to acknowledge how involved and helpful she was in the whole process - including the parts we didnt see. Closing took place exacttly as planned and was over in all of 30min because everything was in order. Truly, give her a call.
