Issue with Face ID on my phone was fixed. However I spent almost $1000 and the issue with my computer was not fixed at all.

Mac business solutions has worked on several computers of mine throughout the years, going back to an old MacBook G4 all the way up to my current MacBook Air. I have also recommended them to several friends. If you are off your warranty/Apple Care plan, this is so much cheaper than going to the Apple Store. And they are friendly, thorough, and make recommendations for additional services without being pushy. I'd say I look forward to visiting them again soon, but that would mean something is wrong with my computer, so I suppose I'll just say they're great.

They quickly diagnosed our MacBook Pro and presented options. Even though it was basically dead they did confirm that they could salvage the hard drive contents.

I've wanted so badly to like Mac Business Solutions. In fact in the past I've still recommended the company even though I felt like they were very overpriced. Unfortunately, we had an issue a few months ago where the screen to our mac book went black. Apparently had we brought the computer in earlier, it would have been covered by warranty, but since we waited until it was fully broken, it no longer qualified. Sucky situation, but it is what it is so we paid the $500 for the fix and went on with our lives. A week or two after getting the laptop back, I noticed that the touch bar was no longer working. The touch bar had never had an issue so I thought maybe something happened during the screen fix. Life got in the way and I didn't get to calling MBS for a few more weeks. When I finally went in, they told me that it was pure "coincidence" that the touch screen stopped working and even though it was literally right after they pulled the computer apart, it definitely wasn't them and they would not fix it... except if we paid another $500. Now we have a touch bar that doesn't work and they've lost a customer and an advocate. Such a disappointment.

My 2013 MacBook Pro suddenly died one day. I heard a "fluttering" sound before it died. Was never able to turn it back on after that. Took it to Mac Business Solutions in Gaithersburg and Tyrone was able to schedule my diagnostic the very next day. Cody was the technician who worked on my MacBook, because of it's age, the internal parts simply just died from normal wear and tear, it was my heavy duty daily driver for 9 years, I was happy it lasted that long. Cody was able to take out the SSD, put it in another MacBook and recover ALL of my files. We backed it up on a External hard drive and I was able to pick up right where I left off on a new Macbook. Luckily I didn't lose any files and was able to recover everything - which was my biggest concern at the time. Would highly recommend Mac Business Solutions.

The folks at Mac Business Solutions, I would describe as old school service with future minded technology assistance. Both are a very good thing (in-person, patient staff) in this automated world we live in). You can tell that they love what they do, they're respected by the professionals and many in the area, and it shows.

The technician is super professional and quick response. The apple store asked me to mail back my computer to fix it but I have lots of work related documents that I should use soon. Then I found Mac Business helped me. Because there's no problem of my MacBook after they checked, they even didn't accept the payment. I am super impressive, and must give them a five-star comment to let the public know their kindly help and professional.

I've trusted at least 3 Macs to the team at MBS for repairs, new batteries, and a whole host of things large and small for the past 8 years. Each encounter with them- whether they can or can't fix something has been professional. These are the Mac experts that you want to bring your laptops to for repair, for any recalls, for advice, for upgrades- they are the best. Recently they helped repair a laptop I was worried might be unable to be revived. They updated me on the process to find a part- no small feat right now since parts take time- and when they shipped the laptop back to me and the shipper dropped the ball-the team at MBS went above and beyond to get the laptop back to me- even though it was the shippers fault. I'm always impressed with the work they do.

Overpriced and you can't really trust their timelines. To me, the only reason to go there is if you can't make it to any of the other Apple stores in the DMV area.

Horrible experience and very dissatisfied with apple and the product they sold me. Brand new M1 Mac I purchased and broke within 4 months of barely using it. Was told they can’t recover my pictures of my kid because they aren’t a real apple store and the tech they use isn’t working. Done with apple and anyone affiliated with them

We dropped off our computer for tech support, they fixed it within a few hours told me what the issue was and how to avoid it in the future. They are top notch and highly recommend them for any computer service. Saved my computer and money. I will not be returning to Apple. New loyal customer.
