Looking to become a Caregiver Or just a part time job This isn’t the place whatsoever They will try to start you off with ONLY 15.00 They want you to pay for the background checks which most Agency pay for Background & Also Give you a Free physical Form for FMH or elsewhere LET ALONE you have to pay for FIRST AID.which all of this is coming out of your POCKETS. I was hired and walked out on them Mid process Vickie has BAD energy. They only rush to place you in the system just for STATE to see they have plenty of Workers paying someone 16 who’s driving their car to clients home IS A SLAP IN THE FACE….

HomeCentris Frederick is ran by a kind and supportive team. You can tell that they know what they are doing and that they really care about their clients and caregivers. I have had a great experience with them and highly recommend them to others.

This so-called business doesn't listen to the client. If your caregiver is supposed to be there at a certain time forget it. The caregiver is a NO SHOW, and the Scheduler doesn't even bother to call the client to say the caregiver isn't coming or that they have someone else coming at the same or different time. I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone. To be honest this business isn't worth a one-star rating but you have to give them at least one star to post. They should close the doors for good.

I am someone who has multiple conditions and needs a caretaker with me when I am awake... I choke when I eat and need someone to be with me when I eat and to fix my meals also to help in the shower. This company was good at the beginning and my aid went on vacation. I never heard anything from the company about a replacement as the caregiver notified the agency about going on vacation, for 7 days no phone call, no one showed up and then the caregiver came back and called me the day she was supposed to come back that she was still in bed, she over slept, never showed up and didn't show up the next day either. She came back to work for three days and now she is out sick and the company doesn't know when she will be back so, they send an aid out who was perfect and I just received the news that she will not be coming back out and that she will be going somewhere else and that I (the guy who chokes when he eats) will be without a caregiver. I don't know who made that decision, but that decision is stupid......

If you care about receiving quality home care in the Frederick, MD area, you would be well advised to avoid this provider. The incompetent management team which operates this location exhibits little or no respect for their clients or employees. Care is too often not available when needed or is provided by unskilled or untrained personnel. Dependable scheduling of care is nearly impossible due to an apparent above average turn-over rate of employees with almost no back-up available. I would certainly suggest looking elsewhere for home care.

It is unfortunate that in times of need there are poser companies like Centris who do not care about the person in need. Our initial communications were good, as a few other reviewers have stated, but when we met with their staff it was a different experience altogether. Their communication skills were non existent and attitudes extremely negative. In short: Authoritative.Dismissive.Coarse.If you are looking for "true" quality care then I would not consider this company (steer clear, way clear).
