Good store I can always find someone to help, if needed. Good selection of products. I always check inventory online to make sure they have what I want before I go. Never disappointed. Good help, clean store and plenty of inventory.

I came here to find some pressure treated wood for an outdoor project. I barely got any help from employees in finding the right wood. After that I needed them to be cut to fit in my car and requested for a measured cut. Employee was super rude and told me he cannot bend rules for one customer, when all I asked was for a measured cut. He kept repeating I cannot cut everything for your project. While another employee at the checkout informed me they charge 25cents for any cuts beyond 3. I could have paid for all the additional cuts had the other employee given me right information. Instead he kept pushing away that they donot accommodate for any customer. Hated the experience at this particular Home Depot. Every-time I visit other locations employees provide great value information and help me find the right fit product for my needs.

Don't ever deal with Home Depot for a kitchen renovation. The installers were the only bright spot of this ordeal. Salesperson Lisa Pletcher told us many half-truths, lies and made two major mistakes in the contract which we missed. She and Jordan Mills do not respond back ever, even to simple questions like, when will the work begin. We had to line contractors up and doing that without a date is impossible. We got a 5 day notice that work would begin after begging for a date for at least two weeks prior. Supervisor Mike Guberman and Home Depot hid behind the contract, which is their right. He even said that it's possible that the salesperson, Lisa, made mistakes, which she did. There is no honor with Home Depot. We didn't choose Lowes because of a lower price. Well, that was a mistake. Give a low contract, make mistakes and go for change orders. Great MO Home Depot. Adios forever.

Poor customer service. Mishandled phone calls, and poor policy structure. Online, In-store and shipping channels of communication are completely mismanaged. It’s 2023- if you’re looking for efficiency and helpful customer service don’t purchase through the Home Depot, the competition is way ahead. Nothing against this particular location- just happens to be the one I used.

Need to tighten up security. These people coming in open boxes and stealing parts or just walking out the door. Can't tell you how many times I've gotten home or to a job and found parts missing so I need to return it and get another one and open the box there to make sure parts are in box. Service truck had all hubcaps stolen and broke my locks from trying to steal from the bins in my truck. These people hang out in the parking lot watching you go in while someone follows you so their friends can try ripping your truck off. Stay away or watch your vehicle in Germantown Maryland Home Depot because the cameras don't work to watch you or your property.

Came in to the Urbana location looking for packing tape and two pad locks. Some of the employees would make eye contact and quickly turn and walk away, two younger employees were even at the front door flirting, and ignored me entirely. The ONLY employee worth anything at this site is Jeanette, she was so helpful. She was the only reason you have two stars, her five star service was amazing. This place is trash with out her. Home depot has gone down hill.

I purchased a riding lawn mower one and a half months ago and the battery on it dies prematurely. So I removed the old battery and took it in to exchange it for a new one. The lady at the return desk said to just go find the new one and bring it up and they would process the return. So I started walking to the back and asked an associate if they knew where the lawn mower batteries were at. He did not but another associate named Jason overheard our conversation and said he could show me because he believed they may of moved. So we proceeded to look for them and after a little bit of searching came across the new one. We then went to the front to process the return. When we got there the original lady that I had dealt with acted like she was to busy to help but added that I would need to pay for a portion of the new battery because she didn’t know how to process that type of return. Jason said he would help on got on the phone and figured out exactly how to do it and within 5 minutes I was walking out with my new battery that was I was not charged for because it was covered under warranty. I normally never write a review but I thought this deserved it. Jason went above and beyond without being asked to help me locate the item I was looking for and process the return transaction all with a very friendly and welcoming attitude. You don’t always get service like this but when you do it’s nice to be acknowledged. Thank You Jason.

I bought a pallet of flooring, knowing it was a little more than I needed, but expecting that I could return the unused cases. They are the same cases that they sell in the store - why wouldn't I be able to return them? They refused to take them back, so I'm stuck with $600 of flooring I can't use. I have spent MANY, MANY THOUSANDS at Home Depot and have many projects left to do, but I don't want to go back to a store that treats customers like this. It looks like I'll be going to Lowes or 84 Lumber for my building supplies in the future. I wish we had a Menards around here.

I picked up some metal roof for The Lumber Barn, and I was impressed with this Home Depot. Very nice customer service, fast loading, attention to detail, serious care about the safety of load getting on public roads. :) great experience!

I try really hard to support local business & local jobs. It seems every single time I come in this store & ask a question, the employees don't know the answer or are "staffing a different section because they are short handed." A week ago I went in for fertilizer for my sky pencil holly bushes. The garden center employee said he didn't know what any of that was. I said Holly-Tone is what I'm looking for. He looked it up on his tablet & told me to go look for it myself inside because it's not in the Garden Center. I immediately left & bought it on Amazon. Same price, delivered to my door, no frustrating lack of customer service.----Mission statement of Home Depot: The Home Depot is in the home improvement business & our goal is to provide the highest level of service, the broadest selection of products & the most competitive prices. My husband & I visited this store another time to buy a Traeger Grill. The associate who helped told us it would be fully assembled & delivered to our backyard on 6/21. I was home all day, waiting for it. My husband said the tracker reported that the grill had been delivered. It was sitting in the middle of the front yard in the rain. I immediately called customer service. The associate was very nice and told me that the store delivered it themselves and not via a 3rd party. She put me in contact with the store. She was polite, listened to my concerns, and directed me to the store I purchased it at.I spoke with the manager. I was very upset that our grill had not only been dragged over our grass, but had been deposited in the middle of the yard for anyone with a truck and a couple of strong people to possibly steal. This was not the highest level of customer service Home Depot promises nor what we were told at the time of purchase. She proceeded to double down on 1) It was a 3rd party delivery service & she's not responsible for them 2) They never deliver grills to a backyard, it's always curbside only & 3) No associate told us that it would be delivered any other way & we were wrong. She argued & she interrupted me every time I tried to speak which escalated my anger over the situation. I got disconnected & had to have my husband deal with her. She doubled down on her same positions & interrupted him when he was talking. He had to actually yell at her to get her to stop & listen.Ultimately, the 2 person delivery team returned to our house & delivered the grill to the backyard as we had been promised. I felt bad for this team - they were well past middle age, not in the best shape and that grill was heavy for them so they basically dragged it back to the backyard. I could see why they rolled it up my grass in the first place. They were as polite and nice as could be, but not really qualified or using appropriate body mechanics to be delivering heavy items safely.I am very disappointed in my recent visits to this store. Employees do not seem to have much knowledge of the products in the departments they staff, employees do not all give the same/correct information regarding deliveries & purchases, managers don't seem to possess much managerial skills, & I frequently see employees standing around scrolling on their phones. My experience with someone who was supposed to be in a position of management was full of conflict, doubling down on why I was wrong & she was right, & zero effort at diffusing a customer's anger when their $900 purchase was delivered on a lawn without their knowledge, in the rain for it to possibly be stolen. $900 is not an insignificant amount to spend. We deserved a much better experience. It used to be a lot of fun shopping at Home Depot. The employees used to have some expertise in the departments they staff & managers actually helped resolve customer problems. If I have to stand in a store googling the items I need for a project & the manager just argues with me when there is a real problem with my items, then what's the point? I mi

As a business owner, who purchases a massive amount of product from Home Depot over the years, I can tell you that this store has gone sadly down the tubes. The level of customer service at Home Depot in Frederick has gotten so bad that I will no longer deal with with Home Depot. I have tried on several attempts to simply make purchases of products that they had on the shelves and they can’t find it in their system and they’re unable to sell me. The product is sitting on the desk right in front of me. I’ve wasted more time, energy and money coming to this location.Home Depot, you have lost a long term customer and you have lost my revenue.

We went to this Home Depot Memorial Day to purchase four cabinets for our laundry room. I talked to two people who were working this day ordering the cabinets. They said to come back the next day when Mike's available. So I went the next day. I confused. I have seen this guy the previous day. He sat on the same rolling chair. Mike said I should order online. Why had these people given the wrong pieces of information to customers? Maybe there is a lack of information Homedepot should train them. Finally, Mike helped. He was not happy to help and looking the time to go home. I placed the order online myself. The order was delivered to Home Depot, one of the cabinets was the wrong color, and they reordered the correct color. I went to pick up this order last Thursday 8th, at 6.45 PM. The person who worked in customer pick-up said, too late now to pick up the order and come back. I went on Friday the 9th and picked the partial order. One of the base cabinets was damaged and returned. I got another email today one of the packages has arrived. I was in the Home Depot for one hour and thirty minutes they could not find the order. The Home Depot screwed the order and my time still waiting for the cabinets to arrive.

Becky at the Pro Desk is the most wonderful contact I've had at any supply house. She has personally called me after hours to ensure my projects get the material they need on time, and she has gone above and beyond for my work to succeed.
