Customer Service was the worst I have ever gotten at a car rental. If there was a rating of 0 star, that would best fit my experience.
I walked in the branch office and and saw no one was in the office. I had an appointment to pick up the rental. I sat down for 15 minutes before a staffer walked in. No apologies for the wait.
When I got to my destination with the rental, I realized the fob was not working. I immediately returned to the branch and informed the employee. Their response was "You can just use the key." No apologies for a non-operational fob and not informing me that the fob was not working when I was given the vehicle. They proceeded to say " It must be the batteries." I don't have batteries." Again no apologies.
I returned the car early, that is the next day because I was just flabbergasted at the horrible customer service. In addition the car was dirty with bird dropping all over it.
I got a car with a competitor car rental service which was excellent.
I had rented many times from Hertz prior to this with great experience.
This experience however, will prevent me from going back to Hertz.

Not good if your goal is to rent a car. Had to drop mine off at the dealership. Who called them to come get me. After we got to the office I was told they only had jeeps and Tesla. I was abandoned on the street and had to call an Uber to take me to a place that had cars for rent

Hunter provided excellent customer service. He was very knowledgeable, and very enthusiastic to provide excellent service to fit my rental needs. His active listening allowed him to provide quality service, and resolve a pre-existing error. Hunter should definitely be recognized for representing Hertz effectively. Thanks Hunter, you've been great!

So I am really definitely dessapoint to my rentar car an this company I rent a car for 9 days because my truck was an still an the shop so I returned the car today like I was happy with the car because was the car I want nice 2024 Camary loved but today went I returned like 1:45 was I guy I don’t know his name I whis yes dark men not really polite an costumer service he was helping another lady he seeme come in never say anything to me hello oh anything I will help an the minute nothing I ask the i wana use my coupon from my job to see if I can extend the car to keep to the end this mont but he never get anything fix so I end to not get the car then I ask look like they charge double an one card an the other to 204 from an 404 from the other really sad ? whit this experience hope the manager can fixed the his bad service wow

I called them to check if they have any Teslas and I was told they don't have any, they don't know their own schedule that when will they have the cars returned, the woman who spoke to me was not interested to talk to me at all. Hertz is a scam.

Unless you like your money being stolen from you I wouldn’t rent a car from here. I was in a hit and run accident and got a rental for a week originally but had to add a additional week because my car wasn’t finished yet well between my insurance/auto repair place they covered between 5 days so I was suppose to get money put back into my account well I waited until after the holidays and I called Kira or Akira and she told me that the money was sent back to my bank so I called my bank and they said they have no transaction of a deposit with the amount…ok so I called back and Kira or akira wasn’t there so the young guy took my number and my name and said he would have her give me a call back. Waited 3 days nothing so I called and it rang and rang so I called off my boyfriends phone and they answered first ring but once he heard my name he had me on hold for 30 minutes until they closed while they sat inside on their phone so it’s now January and I won’t be getting that money because it’s he say she say long story short rent a bicycle before you come here

I needed a rental suddenly for a funeral I have to attend. From my initial call with Akira, and reservation check-in with Hunter and Brent was great. I needed a mini van, and they were able to get me a great price on the base pay. It's always good to be a Hertz Gold member to get the purks or AAA. Thanks again for your efforts as a team to get my family to our destination.

Hertz does not service their vehicles.I had to exchange vehicles 4times due to issues.Hertz should service their cars more often,it’s a safety issue .However the employee there were very helpful,however it is very frustrating.Who wants to have to take their rental car to get service????♀️That should be done before renting.We pay to drive the vehicle ,not to service

Just had to rent a car due to an accident that was not my fault. They had no other car than an electric KIA niro. Extreme inconvenience for me due to my commute to work is almost 50 miles one way literally had to charge it for nearly an hour every night I had it. I then totally forget to take my Ezpass out of my car so I saw the plate pass in the rental I got, why not use theirs. They charged me $104 to use it a grand total of $6 going in and out of Baltimore once. Never using Hertz ever again. I even tried to get a new rental car for for the weekend they said a new fleet would be available the Friday, that didn’t happen so I was stuck with the electric car for another 2 days spending 15$+ every time I charged the damn thing. Electric cars are worthless.

I am a long time Presidents Circle member and almost rarely review. This is the 4th time in the last 3 years they have proactively attempted to cancel my reservation due to their internal inventory not matching what they have available online. However, it’s never when I pay full price and always randomly when I score a ‘deal’. It’s a bait and switch tactic to receive more bookings and hope the customer is fine to accept the change. Never again with this deceitful practice at this location. The enterprise and Avis locations offer superior customer service in this area. As someone who rents a car a more than 50-60 nights a year, this location will never receive a booking from me again. What’s the value of loyalty when you can’t even honor a confirmed reservation.
