I've been going to Hedgeapple for a few years for my beef. Absolutely the best! Highest quality grass fed/finished. Scott is also very knowledgeable and helpful. I'll be buying my beef for many years to come.

Today we made our first trip. Through the week I emailed questions to the owner, he answered every email. When we got there this morning he remembered my name! Feeding our family healthy beef is important to us. We will never buy beef anywhere else. And the store is beautiful.

I'll get right to the point, the flatiron steak I purchased was absolute perfection on the grill. Waiting to try the thick cut rib eye and short ribs I still have in the freezer. Customer service was great, I was just overwhelmed by such a quality selection that I didn't know what I wanted so I grabbed a few things. Will definitely be back with intention next time.

Scott and the entire Hedgeapple Farm team are awesome. My son and I enjoy going to local butchers. My 10 year old son can be picky and hard to please. Hedgeapple Farm fits his bill...it has the leanest tastiest cuts of meat around. We've been to several local butchers but none of them have the freshness and taste of Hedgeapple. Simply put, it's Better than all the others. You can tell every cut of meat is handled with TLC and the Cows are treated very humanely.Its also a great place to visit if you appreciate history. The lengths which Scott and his family have gone to to preserve a historically rich house is super impressive and very cool. The house was preserved and saved piece by piece to create an ambiance which feels exactly like it did in the early 1800s. The rafters are original and you can immediately tell how important it was to Scott to capture the original look and appearance of their store. That's icing on the cake. If you're looking for a local farm to purchase your meats, look no further. Try Hedgewood Farm Market out. Its one of a kind! Thanks Scott.

My husband and I visited HFM on a cold Saturday to stock up on our beef after reading about the farm online. We are new to the area and believe in buying local, fresh, grass fed and finished meat as opposed to buying at grocery stores when you can. So we were delighted to see that the area has a farm that supports this end. The farm is conveniently located in buckeystown and the store is quite organized and adorable. The shop owners/farmers were super nice and friendly which was so refreshing to experience. They also handed us a booklet with a bunch of other farms in the area where we can buy other fresh produce, meat and dairy products. We stopped by Boxcar Burgers for dinner and had a burger with meat sourced from HFM and i can confirm that it was delicious and quality. We will be back to keep stocking up on our meat!

Highly recommended. This place is so amazing. The healthiest and best tasting meat on the planet. It has completely changed my performance. I have been eating this meat for 4 years now and would never consider eating meat from a grocery store again. If you are concerned with your health, look no further. This place is a game changer. Pay the farmer or pay the doctor. I would rather pay the farmer, it's much cheaper!!!
