GTC Rock shop is a retail mineral, rock, and fossil shop located in FSK Mall in Frederick, MD. Our 6,000 square foot showroom features one of the area's largest variety of rough and tumbled stones, crystals, gemstone jewelry, and geodes available at all price points. All sales from our retail division help support our educational efforts. Our 3,000 sq foot Science Education Center is currently open for private events, birthday parties, school field trips, and public classes and speaker events. Please check our Eventbrite for upcoming programs. Our gem mining sluice is available for the public from 12-4 on Saturdays and 1-4 on Sundays, and for programs!
