It's been nearly 4 months since your doctor tried to bully us into putting our greyhound down, which was counter to two other opinions we obtained. Since that time, she has gained nearly 7 pounds since her surgery that your doctor recommended and her UTI. We shared a video with your office, where she is clearly happy and healthy. She had arthritis rather than a neurological condition, which your vet tried to push. Adequan, which your vet would not prescribe, has worked wonders. I hope no other pet or pet owner has to experience your care and how you made us feel.

30+ years of experienced, quality, loving vet care. I wouldn't take my dogs any place else. Dr. Jeff Head is an amazing, knowledgeable and compassionate vet. He explains everything very well and will usually offer more than one treatment plan if it's possible. We really love Dr. Head and our dogs do too! The lobby is configured to keep dogs separated. The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My two (now) Yorkies love going to visit them! My adult sons take their dogs there too.

Glade Valley Treats all our family pets and they do a spectacular job keeping them happy and healthy. They have great response time and availability as well!

Our pup Paddy has seen Dr. Head for the last year or so, and we've also seen Dr. Ramirez and could not recommend them both enough! Our rescue pup can be a bit reactive due to past abuse and came with a wealth of health issues that we've been navigating over the last few years, and Dr. Head has been a godsend. He's not an alarmist, gives you facts, and if he thinks he's not the person to do a specific procedure, he doesn't hesitate to point you in the right direction—Paddy needed extensive jaw surgery and he connected with the office of a local dental surgeon who did an excellent job. If you're looking for a clean, caring, and expert vet who knows their stuff, I highly recommend GVAH!

We love Glade Valley ! They have taken care of all our pets for over 20 years. The Doctors and Tesm are alw as ts very. Informative, compassionate, and Friendly. We have never have always trusted them with our pets! We highly recommend Glade Valley !!

I switched over to Glade Valley because my vet wouldn’t do a certain surgery for my one dogs eye. She needed up getting a cleaning and teeth pulled which were bad I decided to bring my other dog over since he has some loose teeth. They got blood work from him which in itself was a miracle I like the girls there and I especially like the itemized bill they give you for what to expect to pay My other vet is good too but all the good doctors have left and it’s owned by someone else now. I was recommended to go to Glade Valley. So far I’m very pleased with thecare they gave my dogs it’s a bit of a drive to get there but so far it’s worth it. Plus i haven’t been made to wait! Which was an issue at my other vet office. I’ve been there 2 times since my initial visit and I still really like them. They always are on time fast to check In and don’t make me wait with a nervous dog. I’ll be bringing my cat over as well. Good people there. Def worth my trip up there

I needed a vet here in Frederick to help me with the needs of my foster cat because the vet he had been with is about an hour and a half away. I had read several comments on Next Door and other places and frankly was pretty nervous because it seemed like every place I heard about, several people were unhappy with the care and/or service. I know this happens, I know that you can't keep everybody happy, but I really wanted to find somebody who would work with the shelter that is footing the bill, and I also wanted somebody who would take a genuine interest in the best health of my cat. Well, I hit the jackpot! I couldn't be happier with the staff who helped with the payment details with the shelter, to the vet techs who saw Mittens before Dr. Kramer did, to Dr. Kramer. She is amazing and I feel so much more comfortable now about switching vets, knowing Mittens will be under her care. Thank you all for doing such good work!

Glade Valley front staff, when we arrived and at checkout very friendly. Dr. Krammer and her assistant, I forget her name are both so nice and caring to Buster. They made Buster very comfortable and happy ?

Great vet hospital. We transferred to them because our former vet totally misdiagnosed our older dog. They were also able to find collapsing trachea in our little white dog while our other vet treated for kennel cough.
