Fantastic community art gallery. Artwork rotates frequently with a good collection of all ages and abilities. It was quiet and didn't feel over crowded. Right off of the Carol Creek walkway, perfect during your stroll. There is a gift shop with prints and lower priced items to purchase and support the artists. Woman who greeted us was very sweet.

Such a fantastic community art center! Excellent cutting edge works alongside well rendered more traditional pieces and even youth art. Nice gift shop too. All set right on the wonderful Carroll Creek pedestrian walkway connecting so many delightful Frederick places, including several local breweries and restaurants. Check out their current exhibits and do visit! Please donate when you're visiting to support this community asset, and consider joining if you're nearby! Love this place!

Had an amazing time taking the kids to the free art event. The volunteers were very patient with the kids and the instructions provided were well explained.Parking was available in the garage directly across from the center. Hope to explore more of the art center during the week when the kids are in school.

We recently hosted a retirement party for my husband. We wanted an intimate, special place to celebrate his 30 year Army career. Delaplaine exceeded all of our expectations... this is a really unique spot in downtown Frederick with a deck overlooking Carroll Creek . Marilyn, helped us with all of the planning for our dinner and an open bar. She was very informative and a joy to work with during the planning process. I cannot say enough nice things to express our sincere gratitude for all of the thoughtful touches and the hard work that Marilyn and her team put into setting up the room and the decorating that they did to " Man it up". It was elegant and masculine.. exactly what we were hoping for! Thank you, Marilyn!

Excellent venue in Frederick for all sorts of events. I hosted a high school reunion here and have attended here for baby showers and birthday parties. The level of service, flexibility, care and creativity is great!!! The pricing is affordable and what you get for your money is amazing!

Wonderful place with a variety of art exhibits. In addition to the exhibits, there is also a gift shop which looks small until you start looking through the bins with prints and original art.

Marilyn was fantastic in helping us prepare for our wedding celebration. She went above and beyond! I hope the higher ups at the Delaplaine realize how much work her and her team put into these events! Thank you again, Marilyn!

Small but pretty nice contemporary art gallery. Not too many visitors, calm, free. You can buy some arts, but many are NFS.

I have been an attendee at events here and also been a vendor providing balloon designs for an event. Delaplaine is a fantastic event venue and Marylin is fantastic to work with. The event space is simple and well equipped - the perfect canvas to create a beautiful event or business affair.

This small art museum and educational center is spread across a couple buildings and includes about 4 gallery spaces and two programmed stair cases with historical information. Most of the gallery space was dedicated to student art from the local schools (much of which was pretty impressive). The stairways had fairly generic, but interesting information about the history of the building and Frederick and the history of art. There was also quite a lot of space dedicated to offices and classrooms, a small, interesting gift shop of local art, and an event hall. The center is free to visit and benefited from the service of a very friendly and helpful person at the front desk. While clearly focused more on art education than professional art, a visit was a worthwhile diversion for an hour.
