141 Thomas Johnson Drive, Frederick“I donate platelets monthly to honor my husband, who died of cancer in 2013. I love this place. Shay, in particular, is excellent at her job. I never feel much of anything when she does my needles and she is fun to chat with. I walk in and everyone knows my name.”
“One of the most well run organizations I have experienced - have volunteered and donated several times and have always been impressed with the leadership - volunteers and mission”
“This is a very nice Restore county shop. Things are relatively clean and items are very well organized. The store looks spacious, and staff are very friendly.
Compare to the Habitat for Humanity in Montgomery Country, this store has a much better atmosphere.
It is located in a strip mall with good number of parking spaces out front.
We had a good time to walk around in the store and knowing any purchase made here will be contribute to the community building.”
“Food for lunch is very original for the prices, and if not buying lunch the menu is very good and pricing off the menu when you are not getting lunch the prices are still very good and food is very tasty.”

“St. Vincent de Paul has helped me out over 5 years ago.
At the time, I was unemployed and facing eviction. My case manager at the time referred St. Vincent de Paul to me. I called them up, a nice gentleman actually responded and let me know that I can come to the office to talk about my situation. The next day, I showed up, he prayed with me and handed me a check to cover my rent. I was so grateful that someone actually cared about my situation without judgment.
If you are in need, please go to St. Vincent de Paul. You will not be disappointed. The staff there are very caring, will listen to you without judgment, will not laugh at you behind your back with other staff members and will see to it that you get what you need.”
“I would just like to gratefully express my appreciation for the clothing voucher I received recently. The clothing will definitely keep me warm for the fall and winter seasons this year.It certainly helped financially and would also like to acknowledge the kindness and concern from your agency, especially Ms. Sandra who provided the voucher. I have been blessed by your assistance.Thank you ??”
“I am very appreciative of the help I receive from the religious coalition the staff was very supportive, patient and understanding. I would encourage anyone whom find themselves in a bind and needing community support to reach out to them.”
“I thank all the employees and volunteers that assisted the dozens of dog and cat owners get their pets rabies shots this past week. It was a first for me and my usually non-compliant cattle dog. I called in advance because I was concerned there may be an issue, but Jessica assured me they would work with me and my dog. What happened next was next to miracle-- Jessica and the vet gave my dog a shot with out an issue. Professional, fair, firm and loving worked! Thanks for great team work! So grateful you you did not turn us away, but cared enough to try. As a result, I paid for the shot and made a donation (not to boast, rather to encourage others to give!).
I will continue to support the mission of the FCHS and won't forget what happened.”
