We had an idea of exactly what we wanted, walked in, and were greeted by Nick, he showed us what we were interested in and we purchased it and scheduled a delivery/install date. Heck with the Big Box Stores when it comes to buying major appliances. The folks at Bray & Scraff know their products!

Very unorganized. Sold us into buying early to lock in rebates- which we did. Then they Lost our oven prior to delivery which jeopardized the closing of our new home. Terrible terrible communication… get everything in writing - don’t accept verbals/ phone calls . 0/5

Nick Mills did an excellent job showing us the features of the appliances we had chosen. The process for purchase was smooth. All questions were answered completely. He is clearly very knowledgeable and that made the entire process enjoyable and efficient.

The installers were scheduled between 4-8pm for a 5.5 hour installation. That was 10/13. They left after midnight.When tested that night, it was clear that there was a problem with the vent blower fan it screeches like a banshee when turned on, making the entire unit unusable. I was told tocontact B&S to report the problem. I did.The first tech came 12 days later. He knew nothing about the blower and had never worked on that model. The downdraft was missing a screw to hold the cover in place. He ordered a new cover unit. It arrived. No follow-up from B&S.I followed up. They responded that the problem had been escalated and the decision was up to the manufacturer. I asked for a new unit. I received "we're working on it" platitudes.12/1 I went back to the store in person I was told it would be taken care of right away. A second tech came 1/5. He also brought a new vent cover, and supplied the missing screw. He had NOT BEEN TOLD ABOUT THE FAN. He inspected it and reported on the inspection report that the problem was that the blower fan had bent blades that were hitting the housing. It needed to be replaced. I was told that there was a blower fan in the warehouse and they should be able to resolve the issue "in a matter of days."That was a week ago.I'm still waiting.

We’re a return customer. After buying a dryer from Lowe’s, getting home and finding out it was damaged by careless warehousing, I found it here for the same 33% off and free shipping.Always great communication and their service calls for previous purchases have been great.

My husband and I like to use local businesses as much as possible. That is why we chose Bray and Scarff when we needed a new washing machine. My husband wanted to pick the machine up but Jake told him the only way they make and money is through the delivery fee and the $50 rebate would cancel out the cost. My husband agreed and was told delivery would be in three days. Inclimate weather was forecast for that day and Jake said his delivery team doesn’t get snow days. The delivery truck could not get down our road so my husband had to go get it in his pick up and then tow the delivery truck out of the ditch. Feeling bad for the guys working in crummy weather, we were not going to say anything. I went to put in for the rebate… it does not apply to our purchase! Jake was pushy to upsell the delivery, made his team work in dangerous conditions and lied to us about the rebate.

DO NOT BUY FROM BRAY AND SCARFF! The staff in the Frederick store are completely incompetent and unprofessional including Jake, the General Manager.I needed to purchase a dryer and brought a washer too because I wanted the set. Jake lied to me by telling me both the washer and dryer I wanted were not in stock when in fact the dryer was in stock. He told me he needed to order both from the manufacturer and I would have to wait 4-6 weeks to receive the appliances. They never put a hold on the dryer they had in stock at the time they ordered the washer and ASSumed the dryer would still be available when the washer arrived, which is insane! When the washer arrived in their warehouse there were no dryers in stock to fulfill the order. I was told I would have to wait an additional 3-4 weeks for the dryer. I cancelled the entire order and took my business elsewhere.
