The tinted glass made it look closed, but they were open. I was able to get a small quantity of paint mixed up to fix a chip on my car. The person working at the time was pretty helpful in answering my questions and getting me the supplies I needed for the job.Lots and lots of parking available! I'm happy this place exists.

If i could give baps in Frederick 10 stars i definitely would. I cant begin to tell you how many times i have gone in and have been helped by such a pleasant staff. Baps has become my only supplier and the only company i go to for all my paint needs. If you need paint primers auto body material etc baps in Frederick is your number 1 stop shop. Thank you guys for all your help everytime its super appreciated

Arrived at the shop, had told them I would be over some time today. Asked if I should reserve a time, was told to just drop by, they would match my paint. When I arrived, apologies from the staff, primarily Madeline. Seems that the paint camera had been taken from the shop, probably would not be returned for over an hour. Madeline made arrangements to borrow the one from Fitzgerald's. She walked over to pick it up, scanned my car (1972 Triumph TR6 with a rare color - Damson) and then returned it. Mixed the paint, nothing like my car color. We reviewed some swatches, found one close. She mixed that, close but too dark. She mixed again with less black, excellent! Bought 2 small bottles, total cost $30 plus tax. All told Madeline spent over an hour helping me match the paint and ended up with a $30 sale. Outstanding customer service. Know where I'll go for any future auto paint needs!
