So they have signs all over their office that they take debit cards. He saw my bank is chime and immediately said we don’t take it. I rented through Uber rentals, this place has one star reviews on Apple Maps and yelp like crazy. That was the end of the conversation and I left. Honestly if this is a money laundering front it wouldn’t shock me, lots of people seem to have horrible things to say about this place.

OMG PU car at BW couldn’t find the key , asked the Avis attendant well cup holder , No .. Floor, No .. never came to look as in the passenger seat stuck i between seat ! Then WINDSHIELD so filthy you can’t hardly wipe to see ?

Vehicle was dirty inside and outside. Maintenance alerts for service blasted every 30 seconds for 4 days. Vehicle was NOT READY to transport business VIPs; the reason for rental.

Renting for the first time from Avis. Customer service was good. Car could of been cleaned on the outside, but not complaining it is driving very well do far. Hope the whole experience is a good one, if so will use them in the future.Follow up: experience was great and had no problems with the rental. I noted they have very updated vehicles. I will be choosing them again for my next car rental needs.

Car was tesired make/model but filthy. Ice cream in the upholstery, white dog hair everywhere, other general dirt throughout on floors and seats. Took me nearly 2 hours to clean car before we could use it.

I have used Costco travel for years to rent vehicles. I rented one using AVIS in Frederick. Should have known better. I wanted an overnight rental but they closed at 1p.m. on Saturday and not open on Sunday. I returned the car on Sunday. I was charged 3 days instead of the 2 days I was lead to believe. Speaking to call center I was told they were open on Sunday and I should have returned the vehicle. I am so tired of places misleading people and then charging them for the company's in ability to properly train their staff. I will NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND AVIS AGAIN!!!!

Horrible customer service, I used points on my rental and was still charged days later. I am a preferred member and my husband is in the presidents club in which we get upgrades but did not get the treatment that we’ve worked so hard for. But most importantly HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Didn't even get to rent a car due to me traveling for leisure and not having my company ID on me. Was told I would have to pay $600 more without my ID since I booked through the company I work for. Prior to my interaction with attendant the customer in front of me said he found 2 air tags buried within the car which were both tracking his every movement for 2 weeks.

This place is wonderful. The cars are great and the customer service is amazing. Went in, and was greeted by Miguel who did a fantastic job answering all of our questions and had us in and out of the rental place with a new Chrysler in under 10 minutes.

Updating our rental experience (I should have done so immediately after) which wasn't how things went in the good old days. Picked up vehicle just before closing at the Avis located near the airport in Frederick, MD. With a rushed walk around, signed off on some exterior light damage, loaded my daughter in the backseat and left. Arrived home and saw my daughter's clothes covered in white dog hair. Pulled a vacuum and cleaning cloth to go over the entire interior before my wife saw it. Day after picking up, our 5am departure for a thousand miles drive to Florida from Maryland, our rental SUV oil light came on twenty minutes into the drive. Pulled over and checked dipstick all looked okay. Continued to check as we stopped along the way and contacted Avis to inform them. Once in Florida, phoned local Avis to swap vehicles. Three calls/conversations later and the evening before we depart, we're able to obtain a minivan. Loaded up at daylight the next morning for the drive back. As evening set in little bugs crawled out from the dash and under carpet. Pulled into gas station for gas and tissues to remove bugs and found these were roaches. Once home, emptied all our belongings in the street to shake everything out in an effort to prevent transfer of roaches into our home. Early drop off the next morning at Avis, reviewed the SUV concerns and showed employees/manager roach in a tissue and HIGHLY recommended they fumigate the van before renting again. Manager stepped in and said he'd reimburse our card $100.00 but never received.Back in the 1970's my father was a dedicated and regular Avis client which led me to try them myself after years of going to Enterprise. I won't make that mistake again. Again, sorry I didn't post this update sooner.

This Avis location is terrible. The staff are rude and inconsistent. I will never use this location again. I was reluctant to use them after reading the reviews, but I should've listened. It seems like this location changes policies whenever they feel like it. I also get random charges weeks after I've returned the vehicle. I always return it clean and with the same amount of gas as I left with, and yet they still give me random charges. I do not trust this facility with my credit card on file.

Always can get in and out. Guys give nice service with a smiling face. Never had any issues from this location.

We found drugs ( drama mine) in our vehicles that were left behind. We have a child who could have died if he found it before us. This is unacceptable. In addition, the battery failed multiple times and the service was terrible.
