“My health insurance promotes me to go to CVS for my prescriptions however, I have been going to giant pharmacy in Fort Washington Maryland for years. The staff is just simply amazing although the pharmacy is located within the grocery store, the waiting area in the privacy of discussing my prescriptions, how to take the medicine and understanding the need for the medication is so rewarding. The pharmacist is behind the county preparing the medication, but always seem to find time to lift up their heads to greet us at the desk. The staff that assist us with drop off and pick up is so super nice and professional. One day I was in a rush to pick up my medication and the store was very crowded. I had a few simple items in my hand and I kept looking back to check the line so that I can get to the register and out quickly, the staff at the pharmacy accepted my small items of groceries and I paid for them after I picked up my medication. The patient and the welcoming energy makes me feel so special. It's heroes and healthcare like pharmacist and other personnel that makes life feel great. This location is pretty new, you're having we built the grocery store and using a smaller location for a short period of time. Nevertheless, the changes during the reconstruction did not hinder the commitment to care for all of us. This is a Public thank you for all that you do for the patience and customers in the community.”
“I normally go to another CVS but while out I visited this store and was extremely satisfied just like when I visit what I call my CVS at Rhode Island and Washington Place, NE, in D C.”
“Listen, this is a busy pharmacy given their location. I have never had a rude encounter or bad experience with any of the pharmacist. They are just busy and it gets tiring, so I applaud them for doing their job and doing it well. More than likely the reason that they are not answering their phone is because they have a very long line and they’re trying their best to help the patients waiting in line to get their medication’s.
I’ve had encounters where I had wait not more than five minutes & I’ve had encounters where I had to wait more than 45 minutes and each of those times the service was still great. I really appreciate the older gentleman Kenneth he’s always pleasant always very helpful and treat his employees great from what I can tell. Speaking as someone who also works in the health industry, you have to give these people grace and you have to have patience.
They really are trying their best with what they’ve got.
Thanks guys ”
“Great customer service and follow up with insurance company. They close earlier than other pharmacies so when I was running late to pick up my prescription I called ahead and they buzzed me in upon recognizing who I was. That is what relationship is all about. Did not have that with CVS Livingston Road.”
