“I just purchased a Weber grill from Village Hardware during a brief in-store visit. The salesperson was really helpful in process and set up assembly and free delivery for me. I called back to confirm that I would have the needed parts to attach the grill to my natural gas line and was assured that I would.Rick assembled and delivered the grill this morning. He had the extra adapter that I needed for hook-up. He took time to thoroughly explain functions and maintenance and answered all of my questions. He even shared a recipe. “It’s the little things……I called in search of a small o-ring and was the attendant wasn’t certain they had what I needed but encouraged me to come down and show them the part I was looking for. I normally would call another shop, but her pleasant demeanor and professionalism nudged me in their direction.When I entered the store, I was greeted immediately. I initially looked over my shoulder, because I assumed the attendant was speaking to someone else until I realized she was speaking to me.While waiting in line, a gentleman appeared and asked if I needed assistance. I showed him my part and he provided two o-rings. He shook my hand, looked me in the eye, and said it’s free of charge. That said, Ferguson Supply’s professionalism and attentiveness made a first time customer feel like a regular.”
“Now under new ownership as Del Ray Hardware, there is slightly more room inside and it's a little easier to find what you are looking for. Staff are very friendly and eager to help and/or strike a conversation. Love that it was able to remain in the neighborhood. And that they are very dog friendly - we picked up a bag of pet safe ice melt and Penny utilizes the water bowl out front frequently. Plus, they have treats inside for any doggos who go shopping.”

“Ms. Tineal was very helpful when I asked her for a somewhat strange request today. I was nervous to buy straw for a stray cat I am caring for because when I was a kid, my parents put a bail of straw in the car, which resulted in an infestation of wolf spiders. One huge one crawled out of the cusions of the back seat while we were out to dinner and I was mortified and frightened for months.The straw I bought this time was bagged, which I had specifically looked for. But there were a few holes in the bag, which made me nervous. Ms. Tineal was very understanding and kind as she helped me patch the holes with packing tape. I felt goofy asking for this but she made me feel like my request was totally reasonable.”

The gentleman working yesterday 5.23 morning left the store to open the usps door open as I was carrying several boxes. If that's how they treat a stranger not even entering their store I can't imagine how excellent their customer service is. Thank you again sir!”
“I purchased a dryer from this Lowes location and there is a gentleman there in that department by the name of Aaron. This guy is what any company would love to have representing them! Aaron helped me with the purchase of the dryer, full of information, and I had to make two more trips back to the store because I forgot the flexible hose that goes in the back of the dryer. He assisted me with that. I also realized that the dryer did not fit because of the dryer hose that I thought would work, and I returned the vent hose and I saw Aaron and he asked is everything ok? I told him that the hose I selected first, did not work because it makes my dryer stick out too far and I am unable to close the door. He said no problem and he showed me the more flexible hose that would work, and he did this while he was on his lunch hour. Did I mention that Aaron had a smile on his face the entire time...Talk about customer service! I really hope that someone at this Lowes location recognizes this gentleman for his efforts!”
“I had to pick up a couple of new strands of Christmas lights cause good luck finding the bulb that doesn't work lol!Was happy to see they still actually had a large selection instead of being sold out like in recent years.Got two packages of lights, a new pot for my ever-growing, orchid, and a new cute little succulent. Literally, every employee I passed, said hello to me, had a big smile on the face and it was genuine and warm and welcoming. It was a really good vibe. Steven was my cashier and he was amazing! So friendly, helpful, and he also had a big warm smile on his face!”

“Right off the highway on our way back to D.C. from a Richmond trip, we pulled into this Home Depot. It's exactly like all the other Home Depots with a large garden area and massive aisles of anything you need for a home project. Bathrooms are in the back, but expect some dirt inside. Customer service was helpful and friendly.”

“the employees in this store are always willing to assist me when I ask. They have always stopped what they're doing to assist except when they're working with a customer and I'll wait or not. When I encountered staff who don't know what's in their store, if I find the product I find them and show them and tell them where it's located. most of the negative reviews I've read are due to poor management, training and oversight. The buck stops with the manager. Customer service staff are just bodies on duty.”
