My husband and I have been going to Tender Dental Care for over 15 years. Loved Dr Charmaine Folkes and her staff. They were the best. Dr Folkes really cared about her patients. I never had a fear of going to the dentist. Since the new doctor and her staff have taken over the practice, my husband and I have had nothing but bad service. I went in for pain in my lower right gum. I was diagnosed and told that I needed a root canal. While I was been examined, the doctor and her staff kept giggling/laughing which was very unprofessional. I got the root canal and came back for Dr Whitaker to put on a crown or something to replace the temporary cover. She replaced the temporary cover with a permanent tooth. After the permanent tooth was installed, I could still feel the tooth being sensitive to air. I went back and the doctor told me to give it time to set in. I’m still having sensitivity in the tooth. Now I’m wondering if I really needed a root canal. I didn’t get the same concerns and making sure that my issue was resolved. I won’t even go into what happened to my husband. It’s even worse.

Pleasant experience, I'm a nervous Nancy when it comes to all forms of health care. This dentist offices was kind, informative, clean and helpful. I will return.

Nicole is super friendly! She made me feel welcomed and took care of all my insurance confusion. Dr. Lee was cool too! He made sure to answer all of my questions regarding treatment and didn't it feel rushed. Everyone I encountered went above and beyond!

I was seen on time. Hygienist explained everything she was going to do before we started. Took her time. Very comfortable in chair. Was easy to make next appt. Overall pleasant experience ?.

Dr. Whitaker is the best. I had a fear of dentists for about six years. Since first sitting in her chair I felt a warm and sincere atmosphere in her whole office. Plus she’s very knowledgeable. I have complete confidence in the service I’m getting. She’s very thorough. And even if I’m getting a service that isn’t necessarily comfortable, I know that I can rely on her and her staff to make me feel at ease regardless. The new office is beautiful as well.
