Ladies and gentlemen, fellow citizens,Today, I stand before you to emphasize the **indispensable role** played by our United States Postal Service (USPS). It is more than just a system for delivering mail; it is a vital thread woven into the fabric of our nation.1. **Connecting Communities**:The USPS binds together the scattered populous of our great land. From bustling cities to remote hamlets, it bridges the gaps, ensuring that every address receives correspondence. Our rural communities, often isolated, find solace in the familiar sound of the mail carrier's footsteps. It is the lifeline that connects us all.2. **Public Safety and Resilience**:When disaster strikes, the USPS stands unwavering. It is an **essential support agency** in our National Response Framework. During hurricanes, wildfires, or pandemics, our postal carriers become beacons of hope. They deliver not only letters but also life-saving information, medicine, and aid. Remember Hurricane Maria? Our letter carriers in Puerto Rico provided critical data to FEMA, aiding vulnerable citizens in need¹.3. **Universal Service Obligation**:Unlike private delivery services, the USPS operates under a universal service obligation. It ensures that every American—urban or rural—has access to mail service at a reasonable price. Our postal workers brave all conditions, from scorching summers to icy winters, to bring packages to citizens' front doors. They are the unsung heroes of our daily lives.4. **Public Good, Not Profit**:The USPS is not merely a business; it is an invaluable public good. It does not seek profits but serves the people. It is the third-largest employer in America, hiring nearly 100,000 veterans. Its favorable public opinion surpasses that of any federal agency. Let us recognize its essentialness and protect it as a national treasure. In conclusion, let us celebrate the USPS—the tireless carriers of our stories, the guardians of our connections, and the embodiment of resilience. Let us safeguard this institution, not just for today but for generations to come.Thank you, and may the spirit of service continue to guide our postal workers as they crisscross our great land, delivering hope, love, and democracy itself.God bless America, and God bless the United States Postal Service! ???

ZERO stars. Kamal is a terrible person to be working at a place that involves you having compassion and care for handling someone else's belongings. She was extremely rude to not only me but every person in there. She had no kind answers or even helpful information. She is also refusing to change the locks on my mailbox from the previous tenant as I have essential supplies in there needed for my paralyzed dog's care that I've been without for weeks due to her laziness.

I agree with the other reviewer. If I could give less than one star, I would do the same. Every time I come, the same lady is aggressively rude.

Rudest post ever. Don't waste your time. Suspect discrimination.

If I could give less than one star I would. I have never been treated so terribly. I have sent many things through the post office (as have most military spouses) so I knew what I needed to do to send a package to my family. Since it had been a few months since I had mailed anything I double checked with her to make sure I was remembering correctly how to fill it out. She told me to fill it out a certain way (the same way I always have), and I followed EXACTLY what she told me to do. She then proceeded to roll her eyes and huff and tell me I did it wrong. I also want to point out that I filled this out right in front of her, she could’ve stopped me at any point to tell me I was doing it wrong. I then asked her to clarify what I did wrong because I was genuinely confused, and she got an even bigger attitude and told me to fill it out… the exact way I did. My husband then filled it out again for me because I was in disbelief of the sheer disrespect and arrogance of this woman, and he filled it out the EXACT same way I did and she said it was perfect. I dont know what I did to this lady that made her so rude, I went in full smiles and asked her how her day was, should’ve just left when she didn’t answer. Avoid this place at all costs.

Based on the terrible previous reviews of Charone I almost drove out of my way to another PO to avoid her. I even walked in recording with my phone, just in case things went far downhill and I wanted to share extra evidence to PO leadership. Lucky for me I did not see Charone on the Friday morning I went here. Kamal helped me, and she was fine...a bit short, but not actively rude. So, Thanks Kamal, for working the day I came in so I didn't have to deal with whatever this "Charone" thing is.

Lady behind the counter is extremely rude and unprofessional right out of the gate for no reason at all. You’d be better to just ship off base and avoiding this place altogether. Trust the other reviews. It’s that way for a reason.

Needed to ship out a return with prepaid label, but they did not have the ability to print it out.

If I could negative star I would. Kamal is what the woman behind the desk (said her name was) is very rude would not assist me as I had 4 large boxes and was carrying my baby in a carrier and had other child with me. Literally other people around helped because she would not (said it's not her job). Then she proceeded to order my 11 yr old child around to move the boxes for her (speaking to her as if she's not even a person). Very horrible customer service absolutely not the type of service I would expect especially on a base. I will not be returning not even for the convenience that it's on base. You're better off going the extra step and going to the one near food lion off base.

Terrible customer service. I've visited 3 times, and they were all poor experiences. Only reason I was back was due to convince, but don't think I can tolerate the bad attitudes and lack of assistance anymore. Disappointing.

Absolutely rude! Frankly, I don't know how these people have a job. No exaggeration, they have the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. I have been going in there for about 3 years and ever single interaction I have had in there has been horrible. I only continue to go because it's convenient, but today was the last time. After our interaction, I made a comment to the effect of, "okay, thank you, I just don't know why you needed to be so rude about it" to which she responded with words to the effect of, "I don't know why YOU PEOPLE always think that" to which I responded back, "clearly I'm not the only one who thinks that, so maybe the problem is you."I do my very best to be calm and understanding, especially in situations where someone is helping me, but this lady was an absolute atrocity. She needs to go ... I have heard nothing but bad things from co-workers and others on Post... please get rid of all of them, because it's not just the one it's all of them, they are all ridiculously disrespectful.

June 2023: Used this post office 5 times in the past couple months. Not sure what previous reviewers dealt with but staff were professional and never once disrespectful
