I came in yesterday on 4/8/24 around 11 a.m. I wanted to put a order in for a cake for my son's birthday. I was sent to this location by the Forestville Shoppers because apparently their cake decorator had quit. I greeted the brown skinned older lady with the very short hair, she stated she was the head of the bakery. She had a VERY BAD attitude from jump. She asked me what I needed the cake for, and I had misheard her, so she got really sarcastic and said that's not what I asked u. I apologized for misunderstanding her and she still was very rude. She proceeded to shake her head and state that she hates when other locations recommend the one she is working at, and she won't even be in the day I need it so nope (in her words). I don't usually leave reviews often but all I was trying to do was order a cake for my son's birthday and had gone to a couple stores prior. She is literally baking cakes for a living I don't understand how you can hate your job so much. She should probably find a job that makes her happy instead of taking her frustrations out on people trying to spend their hard-earned money in her establishment.

Extremely unsanitary; bakery section didn’t have paper or bags for donut's, etc. I would have had to grab the food with my bare hands.Security & Employees also look like zombies. Shoppers please take better care of your establishment and employees

02/22/2024-Its been a long time since I have actually shopped here. I generally go to LIDL’s. This time I needed some groceries quick and closer to home. The store is clean, bright, produce looks fresh, plenty of inventory, store set is easy and convenient. I found everything I needed quickly. There was no line. I don’t really like having to buy$$$$ grocery bags but every store is doing this now. My total grocery bill came up to $69.72 and I had three bags. The sales clerk(cashier) was pleasant until the end when she kinda acted like she was bored or tired and ready to get off work. My cashier was Regnia 19:46:22 Bless them all!

There's nothing but good genuine down 2 earth employees that work here and will go out there way 2 make sure your needs are taking care of. Also very clean. So then that you can actually see your flection in the floor almost. Very well stocked, (before a rush lol), but you'll never know from the outside looking end. I'll definitely recommend anyone who's looking 2 shop 2 come 2 this location and get all your grocery shopping needs met at this place. Keep up the good work everyone. 1 last thing, it's a team effort all the way across the board.

This store location is a last minute goto for certain items. Yesterday I purchased a 10 piece hot fresh fried chicken wing package. Though I was hungry, I didn’t care for the Feathers N Wings REALLY these feathers were so big and could’ve easily been removed before cooking. IS that too much to ask and pay $9.99!?

I just had a ratchet troll deliver my mother's food and sat it behind her car, out back, MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. She told me it said leave at back door, and I said, "well this is a fence not a door" and she looked at me like "well"...no apology NOTHING. Shopper's take some accountability and screen your drivers and stop hiring to fill openings. My Mom is in a wheelchair and if I was not here, her delivery would still be outside.

The store manager is great along with the staff always very helpful, even to special request items, Internal Delight Almond Joy creamer is usually available and wild caught salmon frozen is at a really low price, yet very tasty, one of the best. Thanks for responding to the email from coporate and a phone call from the Store Manager.I would be remiss if I did not mention the donuts, which can compete in taste with any of the gourmet donut shops, absouletely delicious and yummy, more bang for the buck!

Recently, I went here on an Instacart assignment, which I often do. Unfortunately, this time I had the worst experience.The customer I was shopping for wanted hot crab legs so I proceeded to the seafood department. As I approached the counter a female employee who was behind the counter walked to the back. Then Mike, a male employee walked behind the counter and went straight to the back without acknowledgement. Since, I am given a certain time to fulfill the order while at the store. I said, “Is anyone going to assist me”. This is when both employees walked towards the counter uttering profanity because I asked for assistance.The female said softly, “Damn, I didn’t see you”. While Mike said the same and more but more aggressively, which I was baffled. I expressed to him the lack of professionalism and he became argumentative and confrontational. It only ended because I eventually ignored him to proceed with my order of crab legs.It is always frustrating to me when you’re in an establishment that is based on customer service. Yet, the employees lack customer service skills. They become upset with the customer if you’re forced to ask for assistance. Mike hostile mentality was very concerning. He appears mentally unstable. If I had matched his energy, things could’ve went totally different. He is a poor representative of Shoppers. Such behavior shouldn’t be allowed or tolerated.Before leaving the store, I spoke with one of the managers on duty. He spoke with the female who was working in seafood and witnessed Mike’s poor behavior. Yet, lied and said she didn’t know what happened. Why she said that when she was right there and responded disrespectfully as well, I’ll never know. These employees have to do better or get a job that doesn’t require interacting with customers.Later, I went to Shoppers located at 10501 Martin Luther King, Jr Highway, Bowie, Md. on an Instacart assignment and it was a much better experience. Joe in produce and the other employees assisted me without hesitation. A female employee went and found an item I was looking for, without asking. If I had the option to chose the Shoppers I prefer to shop at, it will definitely be this location. Unfortunately, I live directly behind the Shoppers I had the less than positive experience at, which is why I’m there often on Instacart assignments.
